The vivo S2 5G costs ₹8,000 more than the Y51 Pro 5G at the official India-store prices captured for the 8GB/128GB variants, but it offers a much sharper curved AMOLED display and a higher-resolution front camera. Both phones list the same processor, RAM, storage technology, rear-camera resolutions and 44W charging. The best fit therefore depends chiefly on display and selfie-camera priorities, price and stock.

Availability matters: the captured Y51 Pro 8GB/128GB store result was marked unavailable. Check the live listing before treating its price as an offer you can buy. A third-party comparison page showed different prices—₹31,000 for the Y51 Pro and ₹39,900 for the S2—and does not match the official-store snapshot. The cause of the difference is not established; seller, timing or promotions may differ. For context, the comparison page is 91mobiles’ vivo Y51 Pro vs vivo S2 comparison. Which one should you choose?
Choose the vivo S2 if
- You want the higher-resolution curved AMOLED/POLED display.
- You prefer a 32MP front camera and value vivo’s advertised front- and rear-camera 4K recording.
- You want the lighter listed phone or an in-display fingerprint reader.
- You are willing to pay the higher official 8GB/128GB snapshot price, subject to current stock and pricing.
Choose the vivo Y51 Pro if
- You prefer the lower official listed price, especially if you can find the 8GB/128GB model in stock.
- You value the slightly larger rated battery capacity or prefer a side-mounted fingerprint reader.
- You do not need the S2’s higher-resolution display or 32MP front camera.
For processor, RAM, storage technology, maximum refresh rate, rear-camera resolution and charging wattage, the listed specifications are broadly aligned. The more decisive differences are the S2’s display and front-camera specifications, its lower listed weight, the Y51 Pro’s slightly higher typical battery capacity, and the changing price and availability.
