In the India official-store listings checked on October 4, 2026, the vivo X300 and OnePlus 15 both cost ₹93,999 in their 16GB+512GB configurations. OnePlus also lists a 12GB+256GB version for ₹85,999; the selected vivo 16GB+512GB listing was marked unavailable. The choice is less about a listed-price gap at matched storage and more about priorities: the X300 is smaller and has a 200MP main camera, while the OnePlus 15 has a larger, faster-refresh display and higher stated battery capacity. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent performance, camera or battery-life results.

India price and availability

These are observed listings from the manufacturers’ India stores, not guaranteed current or permanent prices. The vivo listing is for the Summit Red 16GB+512GB variant; OnePlus lists two configurations. Offers, stock, exchange eligibility and the amount a buyer ultimately pays can change.

At the matched 16GB+512GB tier, the inspected listings show no price difference. The OnePlus 15 is ₹8,000 less in its lower 12GB+256GB configuration, but that is not a like-for-like comparison. Check the selected memory and storage, seller, offers and stock before buying; these India prices do not establish prices in other countries.

Which phone has the better screen for you?

The X300’s 6.31-inch display makes it the smaller-screen option; the OnePlus 15’s 6.78-inch panel gives you more screen area and a stated refresh rate of up to 165Hz. The smaller device is the more natural fit if compactness and one-handed handling matter most. A larger display may be preferable for video, games and other content where screen area is useful. Those are practical implications of size, not a finding that one panel looks better: the specifications alone do not settle brightness, colour accuracy or viewing quality.

Camera hardware: focal lengths, not megapixel winner

The X300 specifies a 200MP stabilized main camera. OnePlus specifies a 50MP stabilized main camera and two additional 50MP cameras. Both phones include a stabilized optical-zoom telephoto camera: vivo lists 3x optical zoom, while OnePlus lists 3.5x. The X300’s wide-angle camera has autofocus; OnePlus gives its ultrawide camera a 112° field-of-view specification.

These numbers describe different hardware choices, not a reliable photo-quality ranking. Megapixel count alone cannot show detail in real scenes, low-light performance, colour, motion handling or consistency between lenses. No comparable independent head-to-head camera test is established by the cited manufacturer pages, so a camera winner cannot be called from these specifications.

Performance, battery and charging

The phones use different top-end chipsets: MediaTek Dimensity 9500 in the X300 and Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 in the OnePlus 15. That identifies the processors but does not establish which phone is faster in apps, games or sustained workloads. A useful verdict would require comparable independent benchmarks and sustained-load testing for the regional models.

OnePlus states a 7300mAh dual-cell battery, compared with vivo’s 6040mAh typical capacity (5925mAh rated). OnePlus also lists higher charging wattages: 120W wired and 50W wireless, versus vivo’s 90W wired and advertised 40W wireless. These manufacturer figures do not prove longer runtime or a shorter real-world charging session; usage, temperature, charger and charging conditions matter. No comparable independent endurance or charge-time result is established here.

Software and support

The India product pages name OriginOS 6 for the vivo X300 and OxygenOS 16 for the OnePlus 15. Check the exact regional model and software build for features that matter to you, since availability can vary. The cited pages do not establish which phone receives longer software support, so they do not support an update-duration winner.

Which should you choose?

  • Choose the vivo X300 if you prefer the smaller 6.31-inch form factor, or the listed camera arrangement—including a 200MP main camera and 3x optical telephoto—better matches your needs.
  • Choose the OnePlus 15 if you want the larger 6.78-inch display with up to 165Hz, a 3.5x optical telephoto, or the higher stated battery capacity and charging wattages.
  • Compare the price carefully if you are considering OnePlus’s ₹85,999 12GB+256GB listing against the X300’s ₹93,999 16GB+512GB listing. For equal 16GB+512GB configurations, both were listed at ₹93,999 in the India stores checked, though the selected vivo variant was unavailable.

Before placing an order, verify the live price, stock, exact configuration and any exchange or promotional terms on the vivo India store and OnePlus India store.
