The vivo X300 FE is the stronger-looking choice for processing power and a confirmed 12GB+256GB configuration, while the vivo V80 5G offers a larger, faster-refreshing display and a larger battery according to available listings. There is no settled India price difference yet: third-party listings disagree, and the V80’s announced India launch date is October 6, 2026.

These are not all like-for-like official specifications: the X300 FE values largely come from a comparison listing, while the V80 specifications are from vivo India’s regional page or a community announcement. Confirm the exact model and configuration offered in your country before buying.

Which phone has the better performance and memory?

The listed chipsets point to the X300 FE as the performance-focused option: 91mobiles names a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 for it, compared with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 on vivo India’s V80 specifications page. That is a specification-based comparison, not a claim about measured speed in particular apps or games; the available sources do not provide comparable benchmark results.

The X300 FE’s 12GB+256GB configuration is listed by vivo’s Pakistan store, at shop.vivo.com/pk. This confirms that configuration in Pakistan, not its availability in every market. vivo India lists the V80 with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Buyers should compare the exact local variants because memory and storage can differ by region.

How do the displays compare?

The V80 has the larger panel and higher listed refresh rate: 6.59 inches and up to 144Hz, versus the X300 FE’s 6.31 inches and 120Hz in 91mobiles’ comparison. vivo India confirms the V80’s AMOLED panel, 1260×2750 resolution and up-to-144Hz refresh rate at its product specifications page. The comparison listing gives the X300 FE a 1216×2640 AMOLED screen.

In practical terms, the V80’s listed size favors a roomier viewing area, while its higher refresh-rate ceiling may make supported motion look smoother. Refresh rate alone does not establish overall display quality, and the source set does not provide comparable brightness or color measurements.

Which phone has the better cameras?

On paper, the two phones have similar rear-camera counts and megapixel ratings: each listing describes a 50MP main camera, a 50MP telephoto camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. vivo India specifies optical image stabilization on both V80 50MP rear cameras, and ZEISS branding across its front and rear camera specifications. 91mobiles lists the X300 FE’s camera resolutions but does not establish equivalent camera features in the comparison data.

The V80 announcement also mentions 10x telephoto in portrait and 4K 60fps cinematic video. Those are announcement claims, not independently tested results, and should not be assumed to apply to every final regional model without confirmation in its product materials. Megapixel counts and feature lists cannot settle which phone takes better pictures; comparable camera reviews are not available in the cited sources.

Which phone has the bigger battery and faster charging?

The comparison listing gives the V80 a 7200mAh battery and the X300 FE a 6500mAh battery. The V80 figure also appears in vivo India’s community launch announcement, but not in the cited product-page excerpt. Treat the X300 FE capacity as third-party listing data. Battery capacity alone does not establish how long either phone lasts in real use.

vivo India confirms 90W charging for the V80. 91mobiles lists 90W wired charging for the X300 FE and also says it supports wireless charging; that wireless feature is not confirmed by an official X300 FE specification in the sources available here. Charging speed and compatibility can depend on the supplied or separately purchased charger and regional configuration.

What is the price difference?

As of October 4, 2026, the available India comparison listings do not agree, and the V80 was still marked upcoming by 91mobiles ahead of its announced October 6 launch. The figures below are third-party listing snapshots, not confirmed official launch prices.

Listing source vivo X300 FE vivo V80 5G Implied difference
91mobiles, accessed October 4, 2026 ₹94,999 ₹62,999 (marked upcoming) ₹32,000
Smartprix, accessed October 4, 2026 ₹89,999 ₹59,999 ₹30,000

The arithmetic suggests a gap of roughly ₹30,000–₹32,000 in those listings, but it is not an official or settled price difference. Check vivo India’s confirmed launch pricing and the exact storage variant before making a purchase decision. Separately, vivo Pakistan lists the X300 FE 12GB+256GB at Rs 269,999; that is a Pakistan-market price in a different currency and should not be compared directly with the India figures.

Availability and regional specifications

vivo India’s product page uses the name “V80.” A vivo India community post announced “Vivo V80 5G launching on 6th Oct 12PM🇮🇳”; as of October 4, 2026, that India launch date was still in the future. The announcement also lists Android 17 with OriginOS 7, IP68/IP69 protection and six years of security updates. These details are regional announcement information, not proof that every market or final configuration will match. Verify final availability and specifications for your country.

The vivo India specifications page lists Android 17/OriginOS 7, NFC, Bluetooth 5.4 and USB 2.0 for the V80. It also lists IP68/IP69 protection. These are India-page specifications and may change or differ by region; the cited sources do not establish equivalent X300 FE details for every market.

Which phone should you choose?

  • Choose the X300 FE if your priority is the higher-tier chipset listed by 91mobiles, or a 12GB+256GB configuration confirmed for Pakistan. Wireless charging is another possible advantage, but that feature is only listed by 91mobiles here.
  • Consider the V80 if you want the larger 6.59-inch display with up to 144Hz refresh, or the larger 7200mAh battery listed in the community announcement. Confirm the final local specifications and price before ordering.
  • Wait for comparable reviews if camera quality or real-world battery runtime is your deciding factor; neither can be determined from specification lists alone.
