The vivo X300 FE is the better fit if you want a compact phone, a higher-tier chipset and more versatile camera hardware. The TECNO POVA Curve 2 5G prioritizes a larger, faster-refresh curved display and a bigger battery. Choose the vivo X300 FE for compact size and camera options
At 6.31 inches, the vivo has the smaller display, and its 2640 × 1216 resolution packs more pixels into less screen area than the TECNO’s 2364 × 1080 panel. Its rear setup also includes a dedicated 50MP telephoto camera with OIS, alongside OIS on the 50MP main camera. That gives it more camera hardware flexibility on paper than the TECNO’s listed 50MP + 2MP rear setup. Specifications alone do not establish photo quality.

Choose the TECNO POVA Curve 2 5G for a larger screen and battery
The TECNO’s 6.78-inch curved AMOLED gives you more screen area and an advertised refresh rate of up to 144Hz, compared with 120Hz on the vivo. A higher refresh ceiling may appeal if smooth scrolling is a priority, but it does not establish how the displays compare in actual use. TECNO lists an 8000mAh battery, against the vivo’s 6500mAh typical capacity. Battery capacity is not a measured endurance result.
Performance, charging and cameras: what the numbers do—and do not—tell you
Chipset
The vivo uses a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 platform manufactured on a 3nm process; the TECNO lists a 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 7100 5G processor with a maximum clock speed of 2.4GHz. These specifications place the vivo on a higher tier on paper, but they do not provide a direct gaming benchmark or establish the speed of everyday tasks.

Battery and charging
TECNO lists the larger battery, while vivo lists the faster wired charging rate: 8000mAh and 45W for the POVA Curve 2, versus 6500mAh typical capacity and 90W FlashCharge for the X300 FE. The vivo also states a 6350mAh minimum rated capacity. The figures do not establish how long either phone lasts or how quickly it charges in practice.

The vivo’s telephoto lens and optical image stabilization on both the main and telephoto cameras are meaningful hardware distinctions for someone who wants more than a main-camera perspective. The front-camera specifications are 50MP autofocus on the vivo and 13MP on the TECNO. Megapixel counts and camera features do not, by themselves, predict image quality.

Both official pages list Android 16-based software: OriginOS 6 on the vivo and HiOS 16 on the TECNO. The reviewed sources do not establish their regional update commitments, so check the India product listing or ask the seller if update support is decisive for you.
The vivo lists IP68/IP69 protection and weighs 191g. TECNO lists IP64 and Gorilla Glass 7i; its launch report gives a thickness of 7.42mm and weight of 192g.
