The vivo X300 FE is the smaller, higher-spec option on paper, with an AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 and three rear cameras. The realme NARZO 90x 5G has a larger 144Hz LCD and a higher-capacity battery. At the cited prices, the vivo costs substantially more—but the figures come from different kinds of listings, so they are not a like-for-like official price comparison.

How the screens differ

X300 FE: smaller AMOLED, higher resolution

At 6.31 inches, the vivo is the more compact screen. Its listed AMOLED resolution is 2640 × 1216, compared with the Narzo’s 1570 × 720 LCD. That gives the vivo the stronger specification on display technology and pixel count.

NARZO 90x: larger panel, higher listed refresh ceiling

The realme screen is larger at 6.8 inches and lists a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, versus 120Hz for the vivo. “Up to” describes the manufacturer’s listed ceiling; it does not mean every app or game will operate at that rate. Refresh rate alone also does not establish overall display quality.

Performance and storage: a higher tier on paper for vivo

The X300 FE pairs a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor with LPDDR5X Ultra memory and UFS 4.1 storage. The Narzo lists a Dimensity 6300, LPDDR4X memory and eMMC 5.1 storage. Those component specifications place the vivo in a higher tier on paper, but they are not a substitute for comparable tests: the cited sources provide no head-to-head benchmark, gaming frame-rate, or thermal results.

Camera hardware and the optional vivo telephoto accessory

For rear cameras, the X300 FE lists three distinct units: a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50MP telephoto camera with OIS, and an 8MP wide camera. The Narzo lists one 50MP wide rear camera. The vivo also lists a 50MP autofocus front camera, compared with the Narzo’s 8MP front camera.

This makes the vivo more versatile in listed camera hardware, especially for dedicated telephoto use. Megapixel counts and camera specifications do not, by themselves, prove which phone takes better photos; the available sources do not establish a comparative image-quality result.

vivo says its ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 is compatible with the X300 FE and must be purchased separately. vivo describes the accessory as offering “200 mm Equivalent” reach. That is the manufacturer’s description, not an independently verified camera test, and the accessory is not listed as compatible with the Narzo.

Battery capacity and charging claims

The Narzo lists a larger battery: 7000mAh typical (6820mAh rated), against the X300 FE’s 6500mAh typical (6350mAh rated). A larger stated capacity does not prove longer battery life; actual runtime depends on factors such as display use, network conditions and workload, and no comparative endurance results are available here.

Size and durability

The X300 FE is shorter, narrower, thinner and lighter according to the manufacturers’ measurements: 150.83 × 71.76 × 7.99mm and 191g, compared with the Narzo at about 166.07 × 77.93 × 8.28mm and about 212g. The Narzo’s larger display comes with a physically larger and heavier phone.

vivo lists IP68 and IP69 ratings for the X300 FE. These ratings relate to specified test conditions; they do not mean the phone is damage-proof or guarantee that water exposure is covered by warranty. The cited realme specifications page does not state a corresponding rating, so this comparison cannot establish one for the Narzo.

Price difference in India

The vivo Official E-Store displayed ₹84,999 for the X300 FE 8GB+256GB and ₹89,999 for the 12GB+256GB configuration. A 91mobiles comparison page displayed ₹19,499 at Amazon for the realme Narzo 90X. That Narzo figure is a third-party marketplace snapshot, not an official realme-store price or a guaranteed checkout amount.

Which phone should you choose?

Choose the vivo X300 FE if

  • You want a smaller and lighter phone with an AMOLED screen and substantially higher listed resolution.
  • You prioritize higher-tier listed processor, memory and storage components.
  • You want dedicated telephoto and wide rear cameras, or are interested in vivo’s separately sold compatible telephoto extender.
  • You value the listed wireless charging option as well as wired charging.

Choose the realme NARZO 90x 5G if

  • You prefer a larger display and the higher listed maximum refresh rate.
  • You want the higher stated typical battery capacity.
  • The lower marketplace price snapshot fits your budget, after checking the live listing and final price.

For buyers deciding between these two on specifications, the X300 FE is the compact, more feature-rich choice; the Narzo is the larger-screen, higher-capacity-battery option. The price gap is substantial in the observed listings, but the Narzo price is a volatile third-party snapshot rather than a matched official-store quote.
