Specifications are from the manufacturers’ pages: vivo X300 FE specifications and realme C83 5G specifications. Network functions depend on carrier and region. These are listed specifications, not independent performance or endurance test results.
Performance: a flagship-class listed chip versus a budget-tier phone
The vivo’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 is the more performance-oriented processor on paper, while the C83 5G uses MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300. Their process listings are 3nm and 6nm, respectively. Those specifications establish a substantial difference in processor class, but they do not quantify performance in a particular game, app or everyday task. No comparable hands-on testing is available here, so avoid treating benchmark figures or processor names alone as proof of real-world speed.
Display: choose between detail and screen size
The realme has the larger panel at 6.8 inches and the higher stated maximum refresh rate at 144Hz. The vivo’s 6.31-inch AMOLED panel has far higher listed resolution—2640 × 1216 versus 1570 × 720—and a 120Hz refresh rate. That makes the vivo the stronger specification choice for display technology and pixel detail, while the realme gives more screen area. A refresh-rate figure by itself does not establish overall display quality.
Cameras: more shooting options on the vivo
The X300 FE has three rear camera roles: a stabilized main camera, a stabilized telephoto camera and a wide-angle camera, plus a 50MP autofocus front camera. The C83 5G lists one 13MP autofocus rear camera and a 5MP front camera. On hardware configuration, the vivo offers more flexibility, particularly for telephoto and wide-angle framing. Megapixel counts and camera count do not establish which phone takes better photos; that requires comparable image testing.

Battery and charging: capacity is not a battery-life test
realme lists a 7000mAh typical battery for the C83 5G, 500mAh more than the vivo’s 6500mAh typical capacity. vivo lists 90W FlashCharge, compared with realme’s maximum 15W charging. vivo notes that maximum charging depends on using its original charger and cable and varies with use. Battery capacity alone cannot predict how long either phone lasts between charges; no comparable battery-life test is established here.
Durability and connectivity details
Water and dust resistance
vivo lists IP68/IP69 protection and publishes test-condition notes, but also warns that resistance can diminish over time and advises against routine immersion. Treat the rating as a protection specification under stated conditions, not a promise that the phone is waterproof or immune to damage. The cited realme specification sheet does not state an equivalent IP rating.
Mobile network support
Both manufacturers list 5G bands for their respective phones. vivo also lists dual SIM and eSIM capabilities. Actual band compatibility and features such as eSIM depend on the phone’s regional configuration and the carrier’s support, so check with the carrier before relying on them.

Quick Recap
Which phone should you choose?
- Choose the vivo X300 FE if your priorities are the listed Snapdragon processor, higher-resolution AMOLED screen, multiple rear camera roles, faster stated charging, or the listed IP protection.
- Choose the realme C83 5G if you want the lower-priced option in the cited Indian store listings, a larger screen, or the higher stated typical battery capacity, and its simpler listed camera setup meets your needs.
- Compare exact variants before deciding. The cited ₹70,000 store-price gap compares 12GB/256GB vivo and 4GB/64GB realme listings; it is not a price comparison between matching RAM and storage configurations.
