India price difference: OPPO costs much less at launch
Manufacturer-published launch prices show a substantial gap between these phones. vivo’s listed prices are for 12GB RAM configurations; OPPO’s are for 8GB RAM configurations, so the figures compare different memory and storage tiers. Which phone’s screen and chipset suit your priorities?
vivo X300 FE: higher listed resolution and a higher-end chipset
The vivo pairs a 6.31-inch 2640×1216 display with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. OPPO lists a larger 6.57-inch screen, but at 1080×2372, and a Dimensity 6360 MAX chipset. Those figures distinguish the phones on paper; they do not establish real-world speed, gaming performance or display quality. This comparison includes no independent benchmarks or hands-on measurements.
OPPO F33 Pro 5G: a larger display
OPPO’s listed screen is 0.26 inches larger diagonally. Both manufacturers specify 120Hz refresh rates. The brightness figures—vivo’s 5000-nit local peak and OPPO’s 1400 nits in its launch comparison table—are not enough to conclude how the screens compare in everyday use, since the figures are presented differently and no matched test conditions are established.
Camera priorities: rear telephoto or wide-angle selfies
Choose based on camera hardware, not an assumed image-quality winner
The vivo has three rear cameras, including a dedicated 50MP OIS telephoto alongside a 50MP OIS main camera and an 8MP wide-angle camera. Its front camera is a 50MP autofocus unit. OPPO’s rear arrangement is a 50MP main camera plus a 2MP portrait camera; its standout front-camera specification is a 50MP ultra-wide unit with a stated 100° field of view, which is geared toward fitting more people or background into a selfie frame.

These specifications show different priorities: more varied rear-camera hardware on vivo, and a wide-angle selfie feature emphasized by OPPO. They do not prove which phone takes better photos. OPPO lists a 7000mAh typical battery (6830mAh rated), compared with vivo’s 6500mAh typical (6350mAh rated). vivo specifies 90W FlashCharge; OPPO lists support for up to 80W SUPERVOOC. The larger typical capacity on OPPO’s specification sheet does not establish longer battery life: actual endurance depends on usage and test conditions, and no comparative battery testing is available here. Software, durability and size
vivo lists Android 16 with OriginOS 6, while OPPO’s launch material describes ColorOS 16 as Android-based. The material cited here does not establish a comparable software-support duration for the two phones, so check each manufacturer’s current support information if update longevity is important.
The manufacturers list different protection labels: IP68/IP69 for vivo and IP69K/IP68/IP66 in OPPO’s launch materials. These are manufacturer claims, and the labels alone do not establish identical test methods or equivalent protection in real-world use.
