On the official material available for India, the vivo X200 FE has the more complete published specification sheet. Its listing gives the processor, display, battery, charging, cameras, software and two 5G memory/storage configurations. The Motorola edge 70 pro plus’s India pages confirm the 12GB/256GB configuration, its pricing and its water-resistance rating, but they do not publish its processor, display, battery or wired charging wattage, so those cannot be compared yet.
On the price side, the two India storefront snapshots captured on 4 October 2026 show ₹59,999 for the vivo X200 FE 12GB/256GB and ₹47,999 for the Motorola edge 70 pro plus 12GB/256GB. That is a ₹12,000 gap on those displays. It is not a settled price difference, for the reasons explained below.
Scope and dates used in this comparison
This comparison covers India only. Both companies’ official pages reviewed here are India storefronts or India launch announcements, so every price below is an Indian rupee figure. Prices change, and the figures are dated so you can judge how current they are. The vivo launch figures date from July 2025. The vivo store listing and the Motorola storefront were both captured on 4 October 2026. The Motorola figures are storefront displays, not guaranteed prices.

Price difference: what the numbers show
The table sets out every India price located, with its source and date. Compare like with like: the 12GB/256GB tier is the only one where both brands have a price in the same snapshot.

Launch price versus current display
The vivo X200 FE’s launch announcement and its current store listing give different figures for the same storage tiers. At 12GB/256GB the difference is ₹5,000 (₹54,999 at launch against ₹59,999 on the store listing). At 16GB/512GB it is also ₹5,000 (₹59,999 against ₹64,999). The sources do not explain the change, so this article does not offer a reason for it. Use the current store price, and check it on the day you buy.
Why the ₹12,000 gap is not a final difference
- The Motorola ₹47,999 is a displayed storefront price against a ₹84,999 MRP. The pages reviewed do not show the conditions attached to that display, such as offers, bank discounts or seller terms.
- The vivo figure is a store listing price. The pages reviewed do not show whether any offer applies to it.
- Motorola’s 16GB/512GB price was not stated on the pages reviewed, so there is no like-for-like comparison at that tier.
A fair reading is that the two snapshots, taken on the same day for the same 12GB/256GB tier, show the Motorola phone displayed about ₹12,000 lower. Whether that gap holds depends on offers and availability at the time you check.
vivo X200 FE: verified specifications
vivo’s official India listing gives the following for the X200 FE in the 5G configurations sold as 12GB/256GB and 16GB/512GB.

vivo’s launch announcement names the X200 FE’s design goal in a quote from Vikas Tagra, Head of Product Management, vivo India: “With the X200 FE, we aimed to bring the essence of a flagship into a form that’s effortlessly compact and intuitive.” The quote is the company’s own description and was not independently tested.
Motorola edge 70 pro plus: what is confirmed
The Motorola India storefront confirms the model name, the 12GB/256GB configuration and the pricing above. Motorola’s support documentation confirms the camera arrangement, the water-resistance rating and the wireless charging support. Those are the only Motorola specifications established on the pages reviewed.
Camera arrangement
Motorola’s support hardware diagram shows a periscope telephoto camera, a main camera and an ultra-wide/macro camera. Sensor models, megapixel counts, optical zoom figures and stabilisation are not stated in the Motorola pages reviewed, so the camera hardware cannot be compared line by line with the vivo’s.

Motorola says that resistance declines with normal wear, that the phone is not designed to operate underwater, and that it is not waterproof. A protection rating describes a test condition. It is not a promise of protection in everyday use.
Charging
Motorola states that the phone supports wireless charging with a Qi-certified wireless charger, which is sold separately. Motorola recommends wired charging for faster charging. The wired wattage is not stated in the Motorola pages reviewed.

What remains unconfirmed about the Motorola model
The official Motorola pages reviewed do not provide a full specification sheet. Processor, display size and type, battery capacity, wired charging wattage, launch date and software version are all unconfirmed. That means this article cannot say which phone is faster, brighter, longer-lasting or better at charging. Battery endurance, camera quality and benchmark results have not been tested for either phone here, so no performance winner is declared.
Practical checks before you buy
- Open the vivo India store and the Motorola India storefront on the day you plan to buy. Confirm the exact storage configuration and the price shown.
- Check the seller, offers and delivery terms on the retailer’s page, since the snapshots above do not show them.
- For the Motorola, look for a complete official specification page before relying on any processor, display or battery claim.
- If you plan to use wireless charging with the Motorola, buy a Qi-certified charger separately. Motorola recommends wired charging for faster charging.
- If you want a protective case for the Motorola, choose one designed for that model. Motorola support directs buyers to model-specific cases.
The vivo X200 FE already includes a phone case and applied protective film in its box, according to the vivo listing.
