What the camera specifications do—and do not—tell you
X200 Pro: higher-resolution telephoto hardware
The X200 Pro lists a 200MP OIS telephoto camera with 3.7× optical zoom. The X100 Pro lists a 50MP telephoto and its India store listing specifies 4.3× optical zoom. This is a difference in camera hardware and stated zoom, not a verdict on image quality: megapixel count and zoom ratio alone do not establish which phone produces better photos across lighting conditions or shooting distances.
Other rear and front cameras
Both phones list 50MP main and ultra-wide rear cameras and a 32MP front camera. The X200 Pro’s India specifications identify its main sensor as a Sony LYT-818 with OIS and its ultra-wide camera as autofocus with a 119° field of view. vivo’s X100 Pro store listing identifies a Sony IMX989 main camera. These component details do not substitute for comparable independent camera testing.

Battery and charging: larger stated capacity versus higher charging wattage
vivo lists a 6000mAh typical battery for the X200 Pro, compared with 5400mAh equivalent typical capacity for the X100 Pro. Those capacity figures do not establish how long either phone lasts in use. The X100 Pro has higher listed charging wattage: 100W wired and 50W wireless, versus 90W wired and 30W wireless for the X200 Pro. Wattage alone does not establish charging time; no directly comparable charging-time or endurance result is provided by these specifications.
Display, software, protection and size
Display
Both India models have a listed 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 2800×1260 resolution and support refresh rates up to 120Hz. The X200 Pro’s listing specifies LTPO refresh from 0.1Hz to 120Hz and 4500-nit local peak brightness; the X100 Pro lists up to 120Hz and 3000-nit local peak brightness. Peak brightness figures are manufacturer specifications, not a guarantee of typical brightness in every viewing condition.
Software and ingress ratings
The India specification pages list the X100 Pro with Funtouch OS 14 based on Android 14 and the X200 Pro with Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15. They list IP68 for the X100 Pro and IP68 plus IP69 for the X200 Pro. These are regional product specifications; check the precise rating and software version for the model sold where you live.

Weight and storage
Both cited store configurations have 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, with no expandable ROM listed. vivo lists the X100 Pro at 225g. X200 Pro weight varies by listed India colour: 228g for Titanium Gray and 223g for Cosmos Black.
Which phone should you choose?
- Consider the X200 Pro if the newer listed processor, 200MP telephoto hardware, larger stated battery capacity, LTPO display range or IP69 rating are priorities—and the ₹5,000 higher India store price fits your budget.
- Consider the X100 Pro if its lower listed price and higher stated wired and wireless charging wattages matter more to you, or if its listed 4.3× optical zoom better matches the zoom specification you want.
- Compare the exact local versions before buying outside India. Confirm local network bands, software, price, warranty and service availability; India specifications and store prices should not be assumed to apply elsewhere.
vivo’s specifications establish the hardware differences, but do not establish comparative real-world camera quality, sustained performance, thermals, battery life or durability outcomes. Software-support duration is also not stated on the cited specification pages, so these figures alone cannot settle which phone is the better overall purchase.
