The vivo X Fold6 looks compelling if your priorities are cameras, long battery life and a capable inner display—but whether it is worth buying depends heavily on where you live. A TechRadar reviewer who used it as a main phone for a week praised its camera, battery and multitasking, while noting slow unfold transitions, notification quirks and a visible crease. China pricing starts at CNY 7,999; Spain’s reported price is much higher, and availability, support and warranty should be checked for your country.
What the vivo X Fold6 is—and where it is available
The X Fold6 is vivo’s book-style foldable, announced in China on June 26, 2026. vivo’s China specification page identifies the device as model V2545A and lists June 2026 as its launch month. The company positions it as a large-screen productivity device, with OriginOS 6 Fold features including Atom Workbench modes for serial and multi-window work. Those are vendor-described capabilities, not independent measurements of productivity.
Availability and pricing vary by market. A report dated October 1, 2026 says sales began in Spain that day. That does not establish availability, warranty terms or carrier support in other countries.

Price and configurations
China
vivo’s official China prices are recommended prices, not global prices:

Spain
Cinco Días/Smartlife reported a 12GB+512GB model at a recommended price of EUR 2,199, with a launch offer of EUR 1,979. The report also listed a camera-kit bundle at EUR 2,399 regular price or EUR 2,159 promotional price. These are Spain-specific figures and the promotion is time-sensitive; check the current local offer and bundle contents before buying.

Design, screens and handling
TechRadar’s reviewer found the cover display comfortable enough to use like a regular phone. The tradeoff is that the inner crease remains visible, according to the same review. For a foldable, these are personal-use observations rather than standardized display measurements.

Weight varies by color on vivo’s China specification page: Salt Lake and Night are listed at 228g, while Blue Hole is listed at 235g. Check the exact color and regional model listing if weight matters to you.

Cameras and optional teleconverter
The reviewer praised the camera output and singled out the telephoto system as especially capable. That is a hands-on assessment from one reviewer, not a controlled comparison across all lighting conditions or competing phones. Spain’s product coverage reports a 200MP ZEISS camera and support for vivo’s ZEISS Gen 2 teleconverter.
The teleconverter or reported photography-kit bundle may appeal if extended reach is a priority, but it is optional. Confirm compatibility with the exact phone variant, what the local bundle includes, and current stock and pricing before paying extra.

Battery and charging
The Spain report gives the battery capacity as 6,900mAh and charging as 80W wired and 40W wireless. TechRadar’s reviewer said they consistently got two days from a charge during a week of daily use. That is the reviewer’s experience, not a standardized endurance test or a runtime guarantee; your results will depend on display use, network conditions and workload.

vivo’s launch announcement describes Atom Workbench in OriginOS 6 Fold, including a five-use serial mode and four-window parallel mode. In TechRadar’s week of use, the reviewer reported running up to four resizable split-view apps plus a floating fifth app. The announcement presents these as product features; the hands-on report describes one reviewer’s use rather than a general performance benchmark.

The reviewer also encountered a brief blank screen when unfolding before the interface appeared. They reported that background apps could be closed to conserve battery, delaying notifications until settings were adjusted. If you rely on timely alerts, test your messaging and work apps on the exact software build you plan to buy, and check their background-activity settings.
Should you import the vivo X Fold6?
Importing can expose you to a different software configuration, uncertain network compatibility and weaker local support than buying an officially sold model. The TechRadar reviewer was in the UK and said vivo did not operate there, so they described importing as the route available to them—with no local contract option or assured local support. That is a UK-specific observation from the review, not a claim about every country.
Before ordering, verify the following with the seller or manufacturer for your destination:

- Network bands and SIM or eSIM configuration for the specific regional variant.
- Warranty coverage, repair locations and who pays shipping for service.
- Software version, language and update status on the unit being sold.
- Final landed cost, including taxes, shipping and any import fees.
The available sources do not establish those details for every market. Do not assume a China configuration and a European configuration are interchangeable.
Verdict: who should consider it?
The X Fold6 is worth considering if you want a book-style foldable with a camera system the reviewer found impressive, a large reported battery, fast charging and flexible multitasking. Its visible crease, occasional unfold delay and notification-management quirks are meaningful compromises. Price and regional support may be decisive: compare the actual local total and service arrangements with other foldables before importing or committing to a purchase.
