The vivo V80 launch is no longer live. vivo held its vivo NEXT 2026 event on 6 October 2026, starting at 12 PM, and the phone debuted in Delhi-NCR. vivo India’s newsroom says it unveiled the V80 that day. This page covers where to find the recording and what vivo announced.

vivo Community listed vivo NEXT 2026 with a YouTube Live link on the vivo India community pages. We haven’t confirmed that the recording is still available, so don’t count on the old link working. If it doesn’t, try these:

How to read the battery claim
vivo says 7200 mAh is the largest battery among India V-Series phones launched as of 6 October 2026, based on its own internal research. That is a comparison within vivo’s own range, not against other brands. The typical figure is also higher than the 7015 mAh rated capacity.
Updates
vivo says the 6-year security-update period is counted from the initial global launch date. Availability and duration can vary by device and market, so the effective period for an India unit may be shorter than six years from purchase.

Price and storage in India
vivo’s India online shop lists 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB and 8GB+512GB configurations. On 7 October 2026 it showed ₹62,999 for the 8GB+128GB Sunrise Anthem variant. Treat that as a current shop price, not a fixed launch price, because offers and stock change. A secondary tech-news report also mentioned a dedicated Amazon microsite before launch. We haven’t confirmed current Amazon stock or pricing.
