For buyers comparing India-market models, the vivo V70 FE lists the larger, higher-resolution display, a 200 MP OIS main camera, a 7,000 mAh typical battery and up to 90W charging. Samsung’s Galaxy A27 5G has a 50 MP OIS main camera, a 5,000 mAh typical battery and 25W charging, but Samsung states a longer, clearly defined software-support commitment: up to six Android OS/One UI upgrades and six years of security updates. The official figures make the vivo look more hardware-forward on paper; they do not prove which phone takes better photos, lasts longer per charge or performs faster.
For matched 8GB+128GB configurations, Samsung’s India launch price was ₹31,999 and vivo’s India store listing was ₹44,999—a ₹13,000 difference between those published figures. They are not like-for-like current checkout quotes: Samsung’s is a launch price, while vivo’s listing appeared out of stock when accessed. Verify local stock and prices before buying.

What is the India price difference?
Samsung announced these Galaxy A27 5G India launch prices on June 30, 2026. The announcement said availability would begin July 3, 2026. vivo’s India store listed the V70 FE 5G at ₹44,999 for 8GB+128GB, against an MRP of ₹53,999; that listing appeared out of stock when accessed.

How do the screens compare?
vivo lists a 6.83-inch panel at 2800 × 1260, while Samsung’s US specification page describes the A27 5G’s 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display. Both are listed at up to 120 Hz. On stated size and resolution, vivo has the larger, higher-resolution screen. The brightness figure in vivo’s listing is a local peak figure; the sources do not establish directly comparable brightness testing for both phones.

Which phone has the better camera?
The hardware differs in resolution and lens coverage, but megapixel counts alone cannot establish photo quality. vivo lists a 200 MP OIS main camera and an 8 MP ultrawide; Samsung lists a 50 MP OIS main camera, a 5 MP ultrawide and a 2 MP macro camera. The front cameras are listed as 50 MP autofocus on vivo and 12 MP on Samsung; Samsung’s US page gives f/2.0 for the front camera. These specifications do not settle image processing, low-light results, focus consistency or video quality.

vivo lists a 7,000 mAh typical battery and charging up to 90W; the maximum FlashCharge rate requires vivo’s original standard charger. Samsung lists a 5,000 mAh typical battery and 25W charging in its India announcement. These capacity and power ratings do not predict real-world battery life or establish full-charge times, which depend on usage and charging conditions. Samsung’s US product page separately describes charging up to 45% in 30 minutes; that is a regional manufacturer claim, not a directly comparable charge-time test against the vivo.

Software support and durability
Update commitment
Samsung’s India announcement says the phone offers “six times Android OS/One UI upgrades and six years of security updates.” Samsung’s global newsroom describes this as up to six generations of OS/One UI upgrades and up to six years of security updates from initial global launch. Check the terms and rollout timing for the specific market and device. vivo’s India page lists OriginOS 6 and Android 16, but the cited sources do not establish an equivalent duration commitment.
Water and dust resistance
The listed ratings use different standards and should not be treated as proof that either phone is damage-proof. vivo lists IP68/IP69 and gives test conditions, while warning that resistance may diminish and advising against immersion in everyday use. Samsung’s US page lists IP64 based on spray testing and does not recommend beach or pool use. Manufacturer caveats and the limits of the relevant tests matter more than treating the ratings as a guarantee against water damage.
