In the India store listings captured on October 4, 2026, the V60 8GB+256GB was ₹43,999 but marked unavailable, while the X300 FE was ₹89,999 for 12GB+256GB and ₹99,999 for 12GB+512GB. The V60 price is attached to an 8GB+256GB model that was unavailable, while both X300 FE listings have 12GB of RAM. The ₹46,000 subtraction between the V60 and 256GB X300 FE prices therefore compares different memory configurations and different availability states—not a clean current price gap. Screen size or compactness?
The V60 has the larger display: 6.77 inches versus 6.31 inches on the X300 FE. Both are AMOLED panels with a listed 120Hz refresh rate. The X300 FE’s listed resolution is higher at 2640 × 1216, compared with 2392 × 1080 on the V60. In practical terms, choose by the size you prefer: the V60 offers more viewing area, while the X300 FE is the more compact handset and has more listed pixels. The X300 FE’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 is the newer, higher-tier chipset specification, but the processor names alone do not prove how much faster either phone feels in a particular app, how it handles sustained workloads, or how it manages heat. Both phones list 50MP main, telephoto and front cameras, plus an 8MP wide-angle rear camera. Their descriptions are not identical: vivo calls the V60’s telephoto a “super-telephoto” and identifies ZEISS branding on its cameras, while the X300 FE listing calls its wide-angle camera fixed-focus. Those labels and megapixel counts do not establish that the cameras use identical sensors or produce equal—or better—photos. Real image quality depends on more than resolution and branding. Both phones are listed with a 6,500mAh typical battery capacity and 90W wired charging. Their rated figures are different: vivo gives the V60 a 6,330mAh rated capacity, while the X300 FE specification lists 6,350mAh minimum/rated capacity. Typical and rated figures are distinct labels, so compare like with like. These capacities do not establish which phone lasts longer; that requires comparable endurance testing. vivo also notes that actual charging power varies with conditions and use of the original charger and cable. Both models are listed with IP68/IP69 ratings. For the V60, vivo describes an IP68 test involving static fresh-water immersion at 1.5 metres for 120 minutes under stated conditions; its IP69 test parameters include 80 ± 5°C water and 30 seconds per position. These are manufacturer-stated test conditions, not instructions to expose the phone to water. vivo cautions that resistance can diminish with normal use and says liquid-immersion damage is not covered by warranty. Which phone should you choose?
Choose the vivo V60 if
- You prefer a larger 6.77-inch screen for viewing content.
- You want the listed Funtouch OS 15 software and Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 platform.
- The V60 is available at a price and in a configuration that suits you; the captured 8GB+256GB store listing was unavailable.
Choose the vivo X300 FE if
- You prefer a more compact 6.31-inch phone with a higher listed screen resolution.
- You want the newer Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 specification and the listed OriginOS 6/Android 16 software.
- You are considering a 12GB RAM model and can confirm the live price and stock for either the 256GB or 512GB version.
For a purchase decision, compare live listings with RAM and storage held constant where possible. The captured prices do not provide a same-configuration comparison, and the unavailable V60 listing is not a dependable current offer.
