In vivo’s India store, the 8GB+256GB vivo V50 was priced at ₹42,999 and the 8GB+256GB vivo T4 Pro at ₹29,999 when checked on 7 October 2026, a gap of ₹13,000 for the same memory and storage. The T4 Pro is the cheaper phone, and the V50 is the one with the wider camera setup and the higher-capacity storage option. The rest of the spec sheets are close enough that the price gap does most of the deciding, but the camera hardware is where the two phones really diverge.
All figures below are manufacturer specifications and India store prices from vivo’s own pages. No independent lab testing of either phone was available, so nothing here ranks camera quality, battery life or speed.
Specifications side by side
Both phones share a 6.77-inch-class display at 2392 × 1080 pixels, 90 W charging, Android 15 with Funtouch OS 15, and IP68 and IP69 ratings. The differences sit in the processor, battery capacity, cameras, storage options and front camera.

Price difference and what it covers
The ₹13,000 gap is the difference between the two 8GB+256GB store prices observed on 7 October 2026 on vivo’s India store: V50 variants and T4 Pro variants. Prices change, and the same phone can sell for different amounts through other sellers, so treat the figures as a snapshot rather than a standing price.
The T4 Pro also has an 8GB+128GB configuration, shown at ₹27,999 (₹32,999 MRP) on the same date. The V50’s 8GB+128GB and 12GB+512GB configurations are listed by vivo, but their prices were not confirmed when checked, so they are not included in the comparison.

- T4 Pro: a 50 MP OIS 3× periscope telephoto camera. This gives optical zoom at 3× that the V50 does not list, which helps with portraits and distant subjects.
On the front, the V50 lists a 50 MP autofocus camera and the T4 Pro lists 32 MP. Higher megapixel counts do not automatically mean better selfies, because processing, sensor size and lighting matter as much. Neither vivo page includes sample images or comparative results, so the choice should follow what you photograph most often.
Processor and battery
The T4 Pro uses the newer Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, while the V50 uses the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3. The specification pages establish the chip names, not how fast either phone is in use, so the naming difference alone does not show a measurable speed advantage.

The battery numbers are more specific. The T4 Pro lists 6500 mAh typical capacity, with 6330 mAh shown as the rated figure in vivo’s official note. The V50 lists 6000 mAh typical. Battery capacity is one input into endurance, but screen use, network signal and software also affect it, and no endurance test was available for either phone.

Both have 6.77-inch-class screens at 2392 × 1080 with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The V50 is listed as AMOLED, and vivo’s pages present brightness with different measurement types for each phone. Those brightness figures should not be compared directly without knowing how each was measured, so this article does not rank screen brightness.

Durability and warranty
Both phones are listed as IP68 and IP69. The T4 Pro’s official note says the ratings come from testing under controlled laboratory conditions under IEC 60529. vivo also states that this protection is not permanent and that damage from liquid ingress is not covered by warranty. The same caution applies to the V50, since the ratings describe performance under test conditions and do not make either phone damage-proof.
Software support
The T4 Pro’s store listing states four years of Android OS updates and six years of security updates. The V50 pages checked do not state a comparable support period, so a like-for-like support comparison is not possible from vivo’s pages.
Which phone fits which buyer
- Choose the T4 Pro if you want the lower price, a 3× optical telephoto lens, the newer chip name and a larger listed typical battery, and you do not need the ultra-wide or the 512 GB option.
- Choose the V50 if you shoot wide scenes, want a 50 MP front camera, or need storage beyond 256 GB, and you can justify the ₹13,000 difference at the 8GB+256GB configuration.
Before buying, confirm the variant, seller and live price on vivo’s India store, since the figures above were observed on a single date and can change.

Limits of this comparison
- These are India-market specifications and prices. Regional variants elsewhere may differ.
- vivo states that specifications can change by production batch or supply conditions, so the unit you receive and the current regional listing are authoritative.
- No independent testing covered camera quality, battery endurance, charging time, heat or performance, so none of those are ranked here.
Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
