The vivo T4 Ultra is the stronger pick on paper for processing power and optical zoom; the vivo V50 offers a larger battery capacity and higher-resolution selfie and ultrawide cameras. For matching 12GB/512GB models, the T4 Ultra launched ₹1,000 higher, but a vivo India Store snapshot from October 7, 2026 showed the V50 listed ₹9,000 higher while the T4 Ultra listing was out of stock. Store listings are not confirmed completed-sale prices, so check today’s price and availability before deciding.
Price difference: launch prices versus store snapshot
The fairest direct price comparison is between phones with the same 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. Their launch prices and the later observed store listings tell different stories:

The store figures are a dated snapshot, not a guaranteed transaction price. In particular, the T4 Ultra’s selected 12GB/512GB listing showed out of stock, so its listed price does not establish that a buyer could complete a purchase at that amount.

The T4 Ultra’s launch announcement also describes local peak brightness of 5000 nits. That is a manufacturer-stated local peak figure, not a claim that the whole display sustains that brightness across all content. Which phone is faster?
The T4 Ultra has the higher-tier processor on the published specifications: MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ versus Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 in the V50. That makes the T4 Ultra the more compelling choice if processor capability is your priority. vivo said the T4 Ultra scored more than 2 million on AnTuTu in its 2025 launch announcement; this is vivo’s claim, not an independently matched benchmark comparison between these two phones.

Camera differences: zoom versus selfie and ultrawide resolution
Choose T4 Ultra for a dedicated 3x periscope camera
The T4 Ultra’s 50MP periscope telephoto camera is specified for 3x optical zoom, giving it a dedicated zoom camera that the V50’s listed rear-camera setup does not have. It also includes a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultrawide.

The V50 pairs a 50MP autofocus front camera with a 50MP autofocus ultrawide rear camera rated for a 119.4-degree field of view. The T4 Ultra has a 32MP front camera and an 8MP ultrawide. These are hardware distinctions, not proof that one phone produces better photos; image quality cannot be determined from megapixel counts or camera roles alone.

Battery capacity, charging and durability ratings
The V50 has a 6000mAh typical battery capacity, compared with 5500mAh typical for the T4 Ultra. Both are specified for charging up to 90W, though vivo’s V50 specification ties its maximum charging figure to use of the original charger and cable. Capacity is not a battery-life test, so it does not establish how long either phone will last in a particular person’s use.
For ingress protection, vivo publishes IP68 and IP69 ratings for the V50 and IP64 for the T4 Ultra. These are manufacturer-stated ratings; they should not be read as a promise that either phone is damage-proof.

Which one should you choose?
- Choose the T4 Ultra if its faster listed processor and dedicated 3x periscope camera matter most, and the price and stock status work for you.
- Choose the V50 if you prefer its larger stated battery capacity, 50MP selfie camera, 50MP autofocus ultrawide, or higher manufacturer-published ingress ratings.
- Compare the exact configuration before buying. The observed store prices do not establish a completed-sale price, and the T4 Ultra 12GB/512GB listing was out of stock when accessed on October 7, 2026.
