What the specification differences mean
Battery and charging
The V70 Elite lists a 6500mAh typical battery and 90W charging, versus 5500mAh typical and 80W for the V40 Pro. That gives the V70 Elite the larger capacity and higher rated charging wattage on paper, but the figures do not prove longer battery life or a particular charging time.

Choose based on whether you prefer the larger listed screen; these specifications do not establish differences in brightness or display quality.

Each phone lists 50MP main and telephoto cameras. Their third rear cameras differ: the V40 Pro has a 50MP wide-angle camera, while the V70 Elite has an 8MP ultra-wide. Vivo describes the V40 Pro’s portrait photography with ZEISS branding, but that does not establish which phone takes better photos. Megapixel counts alone are not a reliable image-quality comparison.
