Which phone is better?
For newer listed hardware and software, the T4 Ultra is the stronger on-paper choice: its Dimensity 9300+ is the higher-tier named chipset, it lists Android 15, and its rear camera system includes a 3x periscope. The official specifications do not establish benchmark results or prove how much faster it is in everyday use.
The V40 Pro may suit buyers who prioritize its larger screen, higher-resolution autofocus front camera, three 50MP rear cameras, or stronger listed ingress rating. Which is better depends on which of those differences matters most to you; the specifications alone do not establish an overall winner.

How do the cameras differ?
Rear cameras
The V40 Pro lists three 50MP rear cameras, including a 2x optical ZEISS telephoto portrait camera. The T4 Ultra pairs a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide with a 50MP 3x periscope camera. That gives the T4 Ultra longer listed optical reach, while the V40 Pro has more 50MP sensors across its rear camera set.
These are hardware differences, not a photo-quality verdict. Megapixel counts and zoom labels do not show which phone takes better pictures; that would require comparable independent testing.

- Wonderful Design - USTIYA designed case for Vivo V40 5G allows perfect display of the phone's appearance, allowing you to appreciate its beauty and design. It shows the original color of the phone.
- The combination of flexible TPU and shock absorbing Four Corners helps protect your Vivo V40 5G from drops and other impacts
- Its design with micro dots on the inside prevents the wet and sticky appearance, so common among transparent cases, thus helping to maintain the beautiful design for Vivo V40 5G
- The matte side strips of the edge can increase the stability of the grip of the mobile phone, making it comfortable to hold and preventing it from slipping, while also preventing phone corrosion from hand sweat. Easy to clean, you only need to gently wipe it with a damp cloth to remove stains and dirt.
- DIY customization: due to the special material of the transparent phone case, you can stick photos, patterns, etc. that you like on the back of the phone to personalize it and reflect your style and personality.
Selfie cameras
The V40 Pro lists a 50MP autofocus front camera with a 92° field of view. The T4 Ultra lists a 32MP front camera with an f/2.45 aperture. The V40 Pro therefore has the higher listed resolution and explicitly specified autofocus, but those details alone do not establish which produces better-looking selfies.
