The realme P4R 5G has the larger stated battery and a 144Hz display, while the vivo T5x 5G lists a higher-resolution screen, a Dimensity 7400-Turbo chipset, a 32MP selfie camera and IP68/IP69+ protection. A dated price comparison also put the vivo ₹7,255 higher, but that is not a synchronized checkout comparison. Choose by the specifications that matter to you, and verify the price and exact variant before buying.
Price difference in India
Smartprix listed the vivo T5x 5G at ₹27,243 and the realme P4R 5G at ₹19,988 in a comparison whose details were last updated September 24, 2026. That makes the listed gap ₹7,255, with the vivo higher. These are third-party price observations, not guaranteed prices or Amazon-specific offers. Smartprix’s comparison does not establish that both phones were available from the same seller, in equivalent storage variants, or at checkout on the same date.
Separately, the vivo India e-store displayed ₹27,999 for the T5x 6GB/128GB when accessed October 7, 2026. Treat that as a dated store snapshot, not a live offer. No official realme checkout price was established from the product page reviewed. Check the seller, RAM and storage variant, bank or exchange offers, and final checkout total for both phones before comparing them. The vivo India e-store listing shows multiple T5x variants.
Specifications that affect the choice
| Specification | vivo T5x 5G | realme P4R 5G | What it means |
|---|---|---|---|
| Battery and charging | 7,200mAh; 44W charging | 8,000mAh; 45W charging | P4R has 800mAh more stated capacity. Capacity alone does not establish which phone lasts longer in real use. |
| Display | 6.76-inch LCD, 2344 × 1080; vivo advertises 1,200-nit HBM peak brightness | LCD; 144Hz refresh rate and 1,200-nit peak brightness advertised. Smartprix lists 720 × 1570 resolution; an official resolution was not established on the realme page reviewed. | T5x has the higher resolution listed by its manufacturer; P4R advertises the higher refresh rate. Resolution and refresh rate describe different aspects of display experience. |
| Chipset | MediaTek Dimensity 7400-Turbo | MediaTek Dimensity 6300, 6nm octa-core | The listed chip models occupy different tiers, but the specifications alone do not establish a benchmark result or sustained gaming performance. |
| Rear camera | 50MP Sony IMX852 main camera plus 2MP bokeh camera | 50MP, f/1.8 listed by Smartprix | Megapixel count and aperture do not establish photo quality. |
| Front camera and video | 32MP front camera; vivo advertises 4K recording from front and rear cameras | 8MP front camera listed by Smartprix; equivalent 4K front-video capability was not established on the official page reviewed | T5x has the higher listed selfie-camera resolution and a stated front-video capability, not a proven image-quality advantage. |
| Dust, water and durability claims | IP68 and IP69+; military-grade durability claimed by vivo | IP65 and MIL-STD-810H shock-resistance certification listed by realme | The labels are not interchangeable guarantees against all water, dust or impact. Follow each manufacturer’s care guidance. |
| Software | OriginOS 6.0 based on Android 16 | realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16 | No official update-duration commitment was established for either phone in the product information reviewed. |
| Memory and storage variants | Store lists 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB | Official page says up to 14GB dynamic RAM and 256GB storage | Dynamic or extended RAM is not equivalent to physical RAM. Confirm the exact sale SKU and physical memory. |
Specifications above come from the vivo India e-store, vivo’s T5x product page, realme’s P4R product page and, where noted, Smartprix.

Which phone should you choose?
Choose the realme P4R if battery capacity and refresh rate matter most
- Its stated 8,000mAh battery is larger than the T5x’s 7,200mAh capacity.
- Its 144Hz refresh-rate specification may appeal if you prioritize a higher refresh rate. The exact display resolution should be confirmed from a reliable listing before purchase.
- Compare the exact variant and current seller price: the available price snapshot is not a like-for-like checkout comparison.
Choose the vivo T5x if its listed display, selfie-video specifications or ingress rating fit better
- Its listed 2344 × 1080 resolution is higher than the resolution Smartprix lists for the P4R.
- It lists a 32MP front camera and advertises 4K video recording from both front and rear cameras.
- Its listed Dimensity 7400-Turbo is a different, higher-positioned chipset tier than the P4R’s Dimensity 6300; this is not a guarantee of a specific speed or gaming result.
- Its IP68/IP69+ claim is a higher stated ingress-protection rating than the P4R’s IP65, but neither rating makes a phone indestructible or suitable for every water exposure.
What the specifications do not prove
The manufacturer pages provide specifications and claims, not an independent head-to-head test. They do not establish which phone has longer real-world battery life, better photos, faster sustained performance or a better gaming experience. realme caveats its lab figures, and vivo says its lab results are not definitive indicators of real-world performance. Treat the battery capacities, camera resolutions, chipset names and refresh rate as selection criteria—not substitutes for verified comparative testing.
For a final decision, compare the exact RAM/storage SKUs and the checkout prices available from sellers you trust. If those are close, use the feature you value more—battery capacity and refresh rate on the realme side, or the vivo’s listed resolution, front-camera/video specifications, chipset tier and ingress rating—to break the tie.
