On paper, the POCO M8 Power 5G is reported to offer the larger battery and an AMOLED display, while vivo’s India specification page confirms the T5x’s 32MP front camera and Dimensity 7400-Turbo processor. A 91mobiles price snapshot showed POCO ₹3,154 cheaper, but it is not a live quote: check the same storage tier and seller before deciding.
vivo T5x vs POCO M8 Power 5G specs comparison

Which phone has the better screen?
The POCO is reported to use an AMOLED panel, while vivo specifies an LCD for the T5x. Both are listed at up to 120Hz, so refresh rate alone does not distinguish them. The reported POCO screen is also slightly larger at 6.83 inches versus 6.76 inches, but its exact-model details are supported here by secondary coverage rather than a surfaced official local specification page.

Battery capacity and charging
POCO’s reported 8000mAh capacity is larger than vivo’s officially listed 7200mAh, and its reported charging rate is 45W compared with vivo’s 44W. These figures describe stated capacity and charging specifications, not measured time away from a charger. Actual runtime depends on use and conditions; no controlled battery test establishes which phone lasts longer in practice.

Processor and camera differences
Processor
The T5x lists MediaTek’s Dimensity 7400-Turbo, while POCO is reported to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 4. Chip names and manufacturing-node figures do not by themselves prove which handset is faster. There is no matched benchmark evidence here to support a performance winner.
Cameras
On the listed front-camera resolution, vivo has 32MP versus POCO’s reported 8MP. That makes the T5x the clearer specification-led option for someone prioritizing selfie-camera resolution, but megapixels do not establish image quality. The rear-camera descriptions also do not settle which phone takes better photos; compare sample images taken in the conditions that matter to you.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Software and configurations to check
vivo’s India page lists Android 16 and OriginOS 6.0. Android 16 is reported for the POCO by India Today, but the available information does not establish either phone’s software-update duration. Check each manufacturer’s current support terms if update longevity is important.
The listed memory options differ: vivo specifies three configurations, including an 8GB+256GB version; POCO coverage reports 6GB or 8GB RAM with 128GB storage. Confirm the exact local SKU before comparing prices, since a price for one storage tier is not necessarily comparable with another.
Price difference in India
A 91mobiles comparison page displayed an Amazon listing snapshot of ₹27,099 for the vivo T5x and ₹23,945 for the POCO M8 Power 5G—a difference of ₹3,154 in POCO’s favor at the time represented by that page. 91mobiles comparison This is a third-party snapshot, not a current offer or guaranteed street price. Stock, seller, discounts, and configuration can change, so check both listings at the same time and match storage before treating the gap as meaningful.
Do not combine that snapshot with a separate vivo shop listing showing ₹45,999 for a selected listing as if the amounts were equivalent offers: the configurations and listing context are not established as comparable. Use live retailer prices for the exact variants you intend to buy.
Quick Recap
Which one should you choose?
- Consider the POCO on paper if a reported AMOLED screen and larger stated battery capacity matter most, or if its current like-for-like price is lower.
- Consider the vivo on paper if you prioritize its officially documented T5x configuration or the higher listed 32MP front-camera resolution.
- Compare carefully before buying if processor speed, camera quality, real battery life, or long-term software support is decisive; the specifications here do not provide controlled tests or a confirmed update-duration comparison.
Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
