The vivo T5x 5G has a full, published specification sheet from vivo India. The moto g max’s Motorola India listing confirms its name, storage options and a displayed price, but not its processor, display, battery, camera or software support. That gap means this comparison cannot name a winner on technical merits yet, and it cannot state a reliable rupee price difference either.
What vivo confirms for the T5x 5G
vivo India’s specification page for the T5x gives the following values. These are manufacturer figures, not independent test results.

vivo also notes that parameters can vary across suppliers or production batches. Check the specification shown on the product page or packaging of the unit you intend to buy.

The moto g family page on Motorola India’s site is the primary source for the moto g max. It shows:

The “5G” suffix in the title comes from comparison-site naming. The Motorola India listing reviewed here does not show it, so treat 5G support on the moto g max as unconfirmed until Motorola’s own specification page states it.
Moto g max fields that are not established
Motorola’s listing does not state the following. Comparison websites list values for some of them, but those entries conflict with each other and with vivo’s figures, so none are reproduced here.
- Processor (chipset model)
- Display size, resolution and refresh rate
- Battery capacity and charging rate
- Rear and front camera hardware
- Operating system version and promised update period
- Launch date, weight and dimensions
- Water and dust protection rating
Price: why no rupee difference is stated
The price figures available for these phones are undated snapshots taken from different retailers and configurations. They do not line up, so they cannot be subtracted from one another.
- vivo India store: ₹45,999 shown for a 6GB + 128GB selection, and ₹34,999 shown for an 8GB + 256GB selection on another page.
- Motorola India: ₹25,999 displayed against a ₹42,999 MRP, with no per-variant price stated on the family page.
- Comparison page (91mobiles): ₹27,749 at Amazon for the vivo T5x, and ₹27,999 at Flipkart for the moto g max. No capture date is given.
Because the vivo figures are for different RAM and storage configurations, and the comparison-page figures come from different retailers, none of these prices is a like-for-like match. Check the live price for the same RAM and storage option at the same seller on the day you buy.

Use this order to weigh the two phones. Steps 2 to 7 can only be completed for the moto g max once its specifications are published.
- Price for matching configuration: compare the same RAM and storage option, from the same retailer, on the same day.
- Chipset and performance: compare the named processors. Use only independent benchmark results that clearly identify the test conditions. Do not treat manufacturer claims as test results.
- Display: size, resolution, refresh rate and brightness. vivo’s 1200-nit HBM figure is a manufacturer claim.
- Cameras: sensor and lens hardware, then any independent camera testing that exists for each model.
- Battery and charging: capacity and charging rate. vivo lists 7200mAh and 44W.
- Software and update promise: the Android version at launch and the number of promised OS and security updates, as stated by the maker.
- Build: dimensions, weight and protection rating. vivo lists IP68 and IP69 for the T5x; Motorola’s listing shows no rating.
Which details matter now
- If a published durability rating is a requirement, the vivo T5x meets that on paper. The moto g max cannot be assessed on this point from Motorola’s listing.
- The vivo T5x specification sheet is complete enough to shortlist it against any phone with a documented spec sheet. It is not enough to judge the moto g max.
- vivo’s store listing includes a case and a charger in the box, so buyers do not need to buy a separate charger for the T5x.
Until Motorola’s full moto g max specifications are published, the fair conclusion is that the T5x has the more complete documented profile, and neither phone has been shown to be the better buy on performance or price.
