Battery capacity, charging and vivo’s playback claims
The battery is rated at 5,500mAh, and maximum charging power is 15W when using vivo’s standard charger. In its 27 July 2026 release, vivo claimed up to 18 hours of online video playback, 47 hours of music playback, 13.5 hours of social media use and 28 hours of voice calls, and described four years of battery health. These are the manufacturer’s stated figures, not independently reproduced test results; actual battery life varies with usage and conditions. See vivo’s launch release for its claims and context.
IP64 rating and durability limits
IP64 means the phone is rated for dust protection and resistance to water splashes under IEC 60529. It does not mean the T5e is waterproof or suitable for immersion. vivo says its rating was tested in a controlled laboratory, that protection is not permanent and may decline through ordinary use or impacts, and that the phone should not be charged while wet. vivo also says liquid-ingress damage is not covered by warranty. Read vivo’s specifications and precautions.
