On the India-market specifications cited here, the vivo T5 Pro 5G leads on battery capacity, charging speed, display resolution and refresh rate, and ingress-protection rating. Motorola’s official India pages call its phone the moto g max—not “Moto G Max 5G”—and list a lower observed page price plus a 50 MP main and 8 MP ultrawide rear-camera setup. Prices refer to different storage tiers and dates, so they are not a like-for-like price comparison.

What the display, battery, and protection figures mean
Display
vivo lists a larger, higher-resolution AMOLED panel with a higher maximum refresh rate. Motorola lists an LCD display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. Those figures establish the panel specifications, but they do not by themselves prove which screen looks better in person or how smoothly every app will run.

- Includes a high-definition 9H screen protector made from 9H-hardness tempered glass, which effectively resists everyday scuffs, key scratches and accidental knocks, keeping your screen looking as good as new for years to come
- Military-grade drop protection: a hard PC back panel and soft TPU frame combined with shock-absorbing air cushions, plus raised edges to protect the screen and camera lens, providing robust defence against drops, knocks and everyday wear and tear.
- Smooth sliding, secure latching: Precision runners + anti-loosening latches ensure smooth, jam-free sliding and a secure, spring-loaded lock that won’t pop open, making them durable and long-lasting.
- Precise cut-outs, slim and non-slip: Full-featured, precise cut-outs that do not interfere with charging or photography; slim with a textured finish for a non-slip grip, portable and not bulky.
- Innovative 2-in-1 sliding cover and stand: the sliding lens cover doubles as a sturdy folding stand; slide it open to protect against scratches and dust, and close it to instantly transform it into a viewing stand, leaving your hands free for binge-watching or video calls
Battery and charging
vivo specifies a 9020 mAh typical-capacity battery and 90W FlashCharge; Motorola specifies 7000 mAh and 30W TurboPower. Capacity and charging wattage are useful on-paper comparisons, but actual battery life and charging time depend on usage and conditions.
vivo says the T5 Pro can provide up to 37 hours of YouTube playback, based on its internal lab testing. Motorola lists up to 63 hours of battery life for the moto g max, but that is a manufacturer claim with a different stated basis. These figures are not directly comparable and should not be read as expected everyday runtimes.

Ingress protection
vivo’s India launch materials list IP68 and IP69; Motorola lists IP64 and describes a water-resistant design. The ratings are not a promise that either phone is damage-proof. Follow each manufacturer’s care guidance rather than treating a rating as permission to expose a phone to water or dust without limit.

Check the Motorola model name before comparing listings
Motorola’s India support and product-family pages identify this phone as the moto g max, although the support page lists 5G network bands. “Moto G Max 5G” appears on a third-party comparison page whose specifications conflict with Motorola Support India. Use Motorola’s official figures as the reference rather than combining conflicting listings. Sources: Motorola Support India, Motorola India product family, and Gadgets 360 comparison.
