The vivo T5 5G is listed at ₹34,999 for its 6GB+128GB version on vivo’s India store, while 91mobiles lists the POCO X8 Power 5G at ₹35,999—a ₹1,000 difference. That is not yet a like-for-like comparison: the POCO price and specifications are third-party listings, and vivo’s own pages conflict on key T5 specifications. Treat the prices as snapshots and verify the exact India variant before buying.
Price difference and configurations
The available price comparison lists the vivo T5 5G at ₹34,999 and the POCO X8 Power 5G at ₹35,999, with Flipkart identified as the retailer by 91mobiles. The listed difference is ₹1,000, but prices, discounts, stock and retailer listings can change. The comparison page does not establish that its two prices are for equivalent memory and storage configurations.
vivo’s India store lists T5 5G configurations of 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB, 12GB+256GB and 8GB+256GB; the displayed ₹34,999 price is for the selected 6GB+128GB variant. 91mobiles lists a 128GB POCO option and ₹35,999, but the full configuration behind that price is not confirmed by an official POCO source here. Compare the same storage tier—and RAM where possible—and check the live retailer page before deciding.

Display: confirm the vivo panel before choosing
The vivo display specification is not consistent across its own India pages. The product page and store describe a 6.83-inch AMOLED screen, while the separate parameter page lists a 6.76-inch LCD. Until vivo confirms which applies to the exact India SKU being sold, it is not safe to declare the T5’s display type or size settled.
91mobiles lists a 6.83-inch AMOLED panel for the POCO, but that figure lacks confirmation from an official POCO product page in the available sources. If screen technology is a deciding factor, check the manufacturer’s current page and the retailer’s exact model listing rather than assuming the two AMOLED entries are verified on equal footing.

Performance: chipset names are not a fair speed test
Even vivo’s chipset name varies by page: Dimensity 7500 Turbo in the store, Dimensity 7500 on the product page, and Dimensity 7400-Turbo on its parameter page. The POCO is listed with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 by 91mobiles only. These names do not establish which phone is faster, and no comparable benchmark results with test version, conditions and publisher are available here. Confirm the chipset for each regional SKU and rely on comparable independent testing if raw performance is the deciding factor.

Cameras: vivo provides more detail, but not a head-to-head result
vivo’s product page specifies a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS), an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and 4K recording from both the front and rear. 91mobiles lists a 50MP rear and 32MP front camera for the POCO, without enough detail here to establish its rear-camera layout or video modes. Megapixel counts alone do not show which phone takes better photos; a controlled camera comparison for the exact models would be needed for that verdict.

Battery, charging and durability
vivo’s store and marketing page give the T5 a 7050mAh battery and 44W charging, while the parameter page says 7200mAh and 44W. Confirm the battery capacity tied to the exact variant. The cited POCO comparison does not state a battery capacity or charging rate, so there is no sound basis here for ranking endurance or charging speed. Any third-party battery-duration estimate would depend on its testing method and should not be treated as guaranteed everyday use time.
vivo advertises IP68/IP69 protection and military-grade durability. Those are manufacturer claims; check the precise certification and warranty conditions for the India SKU. The cited POCO listing does not establish water/dust protection or durability terms, so it should not be assumed to match or lack vivo’s advertised protection.

Software support and availability
The vivo store and product page name OriginOS 6, whereas its parameter page lists Android 16. 91mobiles lists Android 16 and HyperOS for the POCO and reports longer software/security support than for vivo, but the duration and terms are not stated in the available comparison details. Verify the OS version, update commitment and support period directly with each manufacturer before treating support longevity as a deciding advantage.
The available sources do not confirm the POCO model through an official product page. Before paying, verify that the exact POCO X8 Power 5G model and configuration are on sale in India through an authorised channel, and check the vivo listing for the specific variant and current stock.

Which phone should you choose?
- Consider the vivo T5 5G if the listed 6GB+128GB price suits your budget and you value its manufacturer-published OIS main camera, ultra-wide camera, 44W charging and stated durability features. First confirm the screen, chipset and battery specification for the exact SKU because vivo’s pages conflict.
- Consider the POCO X8 Power 5G only after verifying its India SKU, configuration, price and specifications with POCO or an authorised seller. The available comparison listing suggests an 8GB/128GB option and a ₹1,000 higher price than vivo’s selected 6GB+128GB listing, but it does not establish an official, like-for-like comparison.
- Wait or compare alternatives if a confirmed display type, chipset, battery figure or long-term update commitment is essential and the seller cannot provide official model-specific details.
