For buyers in India, the vivo T4x 5G has the larger rated battery and higher listed charging wattage, while the CMF Phone 2 Pro has an AMOLED display and a more varied camera setup on paper. A current price gap cannot be verified from the available official listings: they show different vivo configurations, and Nothing’s accessible India product page does not state a price.

The CMF Phone 2 Pro is the choice to consider if panel type is your priority: its listed display is a 6.77-inch flexible AMOLED, compared with the T4x’s 6.72-inch LCD. Both list a 120 Hz refresh rate, although Nothing describes the CMF panel as adaptive. The vivo page lists 1050 nits HBM and Nothing’s product result gives 3000 nits peak for CMF; those labels do not establish a like-for-like brightness test.

Battery and charging: vivo’s paper advantage
vivo lists a 6500 mAh typical capacity (6360 mAh rated) and charging up to 44 W. Nothing lists a 5000 mAh battery and 33 W fast charging for CMF. Those manufacturer figures make the T4x the stronger paper fit for someone prioritizing battery capacity or peak charging wattage, but they do not prove longer battery life or faster charging in everyday use.
Camera systems: versatility is not image quality
vivo specifies a 50 MP autofocus main camera and a 2 MP bokeh rear camera, plus an 8 MP front camera. Nothing describes the CMF as a four-camera system, and its product result identifies telephoto and ultrawide capabilities. That gives CMF more camera types on paper; it is not enough to determine which phone takes better photos or video without comparative testing.
Performance and storage
The T4x uses MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 5G, while CMF lists the Dimensity 7300 Pro 5G. Both manufacturers describe chips in the 4 nm, eight-core class, but model names alone do not establish a speed winner. No reliable same-method benchmark comparison is available here.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFor storage, vivo lists 6/128 GB, 8/128 GB, and 8/256 GB configurations, with UFS 3.1 and no expandable ROM. The accessible CMF India page shows 8/128 GB; it does not establish other local tiers. Confirm the exact configuration available from the seller before comparing prices or buying.

Price difference in India: not verified on a like-for-like basis
The accessible official vivo store listing showed ₹19,499 for a selected 8/128 GB Pronto Purple model, but marked it unavailable. A separate vivo compare result showed ₹16,999 for 6/128 GB. These are different configurations and do not establish a current, purchasable price comparison. Nothing’s accessible official India product page did not expose a current CMF price, so the price gap between matching variants remains unresolved.
Before deciding, check live official listings for the same RAM and storage tier, availability, and any offer conditions. The listed vivo figures should not be subtracted from one another or compared directly with an unverified CMF price.
Which phone should you choose?
- Consider the vivo T4x 5G if the larger stated battery, higher maximum charging wattage, or its listed 8/256 GB option matters most. Its official India specification page rates it IP64. vivo says splash, water, and dust resistance can diminish with wear, so do not treat that rating as permanent protection.
- Consider the CMF Phone 2 Pro if you prioritize an AMOLED panel or want telephoto and ultrawide camera types listed as part of its system.
- Wait to compare prices if cost is decisive: the available official price information does not establish a current same-tier comparison.
vivo notes that its technical data depends on design parameters, laboratory results, and supplier data, and actual performance may vary. Check the product and seller details for the exact unit and region before purchase.
