The realme P4 5G has the larger stated battery, faster rated charging and higher listed refresh rate; the vivo T4R 5G offers a quad-curved display, a stated IP68/IP69 rating, optical image stabilisation on its main camera and a higher-resolution selfie camera. In official India-store listings checked on October 7, 2026, the T4R’s 8GB+128GB variant was ₹7,500 less than the P4’s matching-memory variant. These are specification and price-listing differences, not results from comparative testing.

Display, camera, battery, charging and body figures are manufacturer specifications, not independent measurements. Similar chipset-family names do not establish that the phones perform equally; no independent benchmark or sustained-performance comparison is available here.
How the displays differ
realme P4 5G: higher stated refresh ceiling
realme lists a refresh rate of up to 144Hz for the P4. That is the higher stated ceiling, but it does not establish that every app or game will use that rate or that the screen will feel smoother in every situation.

The T4R also has a 6.77-inch, 1080 × 2392 AMOLED panel, but vivo emphasizes its quad-curved design. Its stated 120Hz refresh availability depends on apps and games supporting it. The choice between the higher listed ceiling and the curved form is therefore partly a matter of design preference.

Battery and charging: P4 leads on listed ratings
realme specifies a 7000mAh typical-capacity battery and 80W charging for the P4; vivo specifies 5700mAh typical capacity and 44W FlashCharge for the T4R. Those figures give the P4 the advantage on paper for capacity and charging rating. They do not establish comparative battery life, or an exact time to recharge: usage, settings and charging conditions affect real outcomes.
Camera hardware: stabilisation, wide-angle and selfie specs
The T4R’s listed rear setup pairs a 50MP Sony main camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and a 2MP bokeh camera. The P4’s listed setup is a 50MP main camera and an 8MP wide-angle camera. OIS and a dedicated wide-angle camera are different hardware features, not proof that one phone takes better photos. Megapixel counts alone cannot establish image quality.

vivo’s store lists a 32MP front camera for the T4R. The realme primary-source material used for the P4 specification comparison does not state a front-camera figure, so a like-for-like selfie-camera comparison cannot be made from those sources.
Water and dust protection: read the rating with its limits
vivo says the T4R has IP68 and IP69 ratings under controlled test conditions and warns: “This product is not a professional waterproof phone.” The ratings should not be treated as a promise of permanent protection or as permission to deliberately expose the phone to water. A definitive P4 rating is not established by the realme primary-source material used here, so this comparison does not claim that the T4R has a confirmed rating advantage over it.

Which phone should you choose?
- Choose the realme P4 5G if its stated 7000mAh typical battery, 80W charging rating or up-to-144Hz display is a priority.
- Choose the vivo T4R 5G if you prefer a quad-curved screen, want the listed 50MP OIS main camera or 32MP selfie camera, value vivo’s stated IP68/IP69 ratings with their test-condition caveat, or the lower observed 8GB+128GB official-store listing.
- Compare hands-on results before deciding if your priority is actual battery endurance, camera output, gaming speed or sustained performance; the specifications and price listings above do not settle those questions.
