The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion has the stronger on-paper display, battery, charging and rear-camera versatility; the vivo T4R is lighter and Vivo lists a case and applied screen film in its box. There is no reliable, like-for-like current price gap in the available India listings: compare the same RAM and storage tier with the seller’s live price and stock before choosing.

Which phone has the better display, battery and charging?
Display
Motorola lists a slightly larger 6.8-inch display, higher 2772 × 1272 resolution and up to 144 Hz refresh rate. The T4R’s 6.77-inch AMOLED is listed at 2392 × 1080 and 120 Hz. Those figures favor the Edge 70 Fusion for screen size, resolution and maximum refresh rate; they do not establish which screen looks better in person.

Battery and charging
The Edge 70 Fusion has a listed 7,000 mAh battery and 68 W charging, compared with 5,700 mAh and 44 W for the T4R. That is a capacity and rated-wattage advantage on paper, not proof of longer real-world battery life or a particular charging time. Usage, settings and charging conditions affect both.
How do the cameras compare?
Both phones list a 50 MP main rear camera with optical image stabilization and a 32 MP front camera. Motorola’s listed secondary rear camera is a 13 MP ultrawide with a 120° field of view; Vivo lists a 2 MP bokeh camera. The ultrawide gives the Edge 70 Fusion a more flexible stated rear-camera setup for wider scenes. Megapixel counts alone cannot establish photo quality, and no controlled photo comparison is available here.

Are the processors or software a reason to choose one?
The listed chips are the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 5G in the T4R and the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 in the Edge 70 Fusion. The manufacturers’ specification pages do not provide a controlled performance comparison, so the chip names alone are not enough to declare a speed or gaming winner.
Motorola lists Android 16, while Vivo lists Android 15 with Funtouch OS 15. That makes Android 16 the newer listed version, but verified update-duration commitments for these exact India models are not established in the cited specifications. Check the manufacturers’ current support terms if update longevity is central to your decision.

What are the India prices, and is there a clear price difference?
No dependable current price gap can be calculated from the available listings because they do not establish matching configurations and live availability. Vivo’s India store displayed ₹23,499 for the T4R 5G 8GB+128GB configuration, but marked that selected configuration unavailable; the store also lists 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB variants. Check the Vivo India Store T4R listing for its current price, selected configuration and stock.
A 91mobiles comparison page displayed ₹22,999 for an out-of-stock T4R and ₹29,749 for the Edge 70 Fusion at Flipkart. Those are seller- and time-sensitive page figures, and the comparison does not establish a matching RAM/storage tier for both phones. Treat them as snapshots, not a current price difference. Which phone should you buy?
- Choose the Edge 70 Fusion if: its live price works for your budget and you prioritize the larger, higher-resolution, faster-refresh display; the bigger rated battery and higher charging wattage; or having an ultrawide rear camera.
- Choose the vivo T4R if: you prefer the lighter listed weight, want Vivo’s listed case and applied protective film, or find a suitable T4R configuration at a better verified price.
- Compare carefully if performance or long-term support is decisive: the published chip names do not replace comparable testing, and the cited specifications do not establish update-duration promises for either exact India model.
Both manufacturers list IP68/IP69 protection. Follow the conditions in each manufacturer’s documentation and warranty terms; a rating should not be treated as a guarantee against every kind of liquid exposure or damage.
