Choose the vivo T4 if a larger listed battery and higher charging wattage matter most; choose the vivo V40e if you want an ultrawide rear camera, a higher-resolution autofocus selfie camera, or a lighter phone. Those are differences in the India-market specifications, not proof of better real-world battery life or camera results. The visible store-price gap is also not a like-for-like comparison: it uses different RAM configurations, and the observed T4 listing was out of stock.

Which phone should you choose?
Choose the T4 for battery capacity and charging specifications
The T4 lists a 7300 mAh typical battery and 90W charging, compared with the V40e’s 5500 mAh typical battery and 80W charging. That gives the T4 the advantage on paper for capacity and charging wattage. It does not establish how long either phone lasts or how quickly it charges in everyday use: actual charging power depends on conditions, and capacity alone cannot predict runtime.
Choose the V40e for camera flexibility and lower listed weight
The V40e includes an 8 MP ultrawide rear camera, while the T4’s listed secondary rear camera is 2 MP. For selfies, the V40e lists a 50 MP autofocus ultrawide front camera; the T4 lists a 32 MP front camera. These specs describe the hardware, not comparative photo quality. The V40e is also lighter on the manufacturers’ listed figures: 183 g versus 199 g.

For performance, treat the processors as a comparison to verify
The T4 lists a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, and the V40e a MediaTek Dimensity 7300. Those processor names alone do not establish which phone performs better in the apps or games you use. If performance is decisive, look for independent tests of both phones conducted under comparable conditions.
What is the price difference in India?
On the vivo India store pages accessed in 2026, the selected T4 12GB/256GB listing was ₹29,999. The V40e was listed at ₹33,999 for 8GB/128GB and ₹35,999 for 8GB/256GB. Subtracting the T4 figure from the V40e 8GB/256GB figure gives ₹6,000, but that compares 12GB RAM with 8GB RAM, so it is not a same-configuration premium. The T4 selection showed out of stock; the opened V40e 8GB/128GB listing showed unavailable. These are observed store-page prices, not guaranteed current checkout prices or launch prices. Check live stock and compare the same storage and, where possible, the same RAM before deciding.

What is similar, and what should not be inferred?
Both official store listings show a 6.77-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 2392 × 1080 resolution. Both also list a phone case and factory-applied protective film in the box, so those items are not necessary add-on purchases based on the listed contents.

How to make the final decision
- Prioritize the T4 if its larger listed battery and 90W charging specification suit your needs.
- Prioritize the V40e if its ultrawide rear camera, autofocus front camera specification, or lower listed weight matters more.
- Before buying, compare current checkout prices for the exact RAM/storage variants and confirm availability in India.
- If camera quality, battery endurance, gaming performance, software support, or service experience is decisive, consult independent, matched-device reviews; the official specifications do not settle those questions.
