The vivo T5 5G is positioned around a larger, smoother display, a larger battery, and newer software—but vivo’s own T5 pages disagree on several core specifications. Vivo lists the T4 Ultra with MediaTek Dimensity 9300+, making it the more performance-focused option on paper. The available information does not establish independent head-to-head speed or gaming results against the T5.

The T5 marketing page names Dimensity 7500 Turbo, while vivo’s parameter page names Dimensity 7400-Turbo. Its marketing page also reports an AnTuTu score of 1,202,592 from a vivo lab test using AnTuTu Benchmark V11 on a 12 GB RAM + 256 GB ROM configuration. That is a vendor test result, and vivo notes that test environment and configuration affect scores; it is not a direct comparison with the T4 Ultra.

Vivo also claims up to 233% faster on-device AI computing versus the prior-generation Dimensity 7400, based on internal tests of specific models under conditions as of July 30, 2026. Treat this as a manufacturer claim, not independent evidence of everyday performance.
Cameras: the T4 Ultra adds optical zoom
Choose the T4 Ultra for a dedicated zoom camera
Vivo lists a 50 MP 3x periscope camera alongside the T4 Ultra’s 50 MP main and 8 MP ultrawide cameras. That gives it a dedicated telephoto option absent from the T5 marketing page’s listed 50 MP Sony IMX882 OIS main camera and 8 MP ultrawide. The specifications indicate greater camera flexibility for zoom on the T4 Ultra, but they do not establish which phone takes better photos overall.

What the T5 camera listing tells you
The T5 marketing page specifies optical image stabilization (OIS) for its main camera. It does not list a periscope or telephoto camera. If portrait or distant-subject zoom matters, confirm the camera arrangement on the exact retail unit before buying.

The T5 marketing page promises a bigger, faster-refresh screen
Vivo’s T5 marketing page lists a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with up to 144 Hz, compared with the T4 Ultra’s listed 6.67-inch, 1260 × 2800, 120 Hz display. However, the T5 parameter page calls its screen LCD. Verify the panel type for the specific India SKU rather than assuming the marketing-page description applies to every configuration.

The T4 Ultra parameter page lists 256 GB and 512 GB storage options with 8 GB or 12 GB RAM.
