Which phone has the more useful camera setup?
vivo T4 Ultra: a dedicated 3× periscope
vivo lists a 50MP Sony IMX921 main camera, a 50MP Sony IMX882 3× periscope telephoto camera, and an 8MP ultra-wide, plus a 32MP front camera. The periscope is the clearest hardware distinction: it provides a dedicated telephoto lens at a stated 3× reach, rather than relying only on the main camera’s view.
realme 15 Pro: 50MP across the camera lineup
realme’s July 24, 2025 launch announcement describes a 50MP Sony IMX896 OIS main camera with a 1/1.56-inch sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide, and a 50MP front camera. It also states 4K 60fps video recording. Resolution and lens labels alone do not tell you which phone produces better photos, video, portraits, or low-light results. The cited sources do not provide a comparable independent camera test, so choose based on the focal lengths and features you are likely to use rather than assuming that more megapixels means better image quality.

How do the chipsets compare?
vivo lists the Dimensity 9300+; realme lists the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4. These are different chipset platforms, but the names alone do not establish which phone will feel faster in everyday use, sustain performance longer under load, or handle a particular game better.
realme’s July 9, 2025 chipset announcement says the 15 Pro exceeded 1.1 million in AnTuTu. That is a manufacturer-reported result, not an independent head-to-head score. realme’s current product page cautions that benchmark data can vary with testing environment and calculation method. Which display is the better fit?
The vivo listing specifies a 6.67-inch screen at 2800 × 1260 resolution. realme emphasizes a 144Hz 4D Curve+ display, and its July 2025 launch announcement calls it 1.5K. The figures point to different priorities: vivo’s cited listing gives a precise resolution and size, while realme foregrounds refresh rate and curved-screen design.

A 144Hz specification does not prove that every app or game will run at that rate, and the cited sources do not establish comparative brightness, color accuracy, or outdoor readability. Curved edges can also affect handling and accidental touches depending on the user. Those qualities need suitable testing or an in-person look; they cannot be settled by these headline specifications.

Battery capacity and charging: realme’s listed advantage
vivo lists a 5500mAh typical battery. realme advertises a 7000mAh typical capacity and an 80W charging rate; its product page gives 6830mAh as the rated minimum. realme says the typical figure is based on lab results and that real-world battery life varies with use, so capacity is not an endurance test or a guarantee of screen-on time.
For maximum 80W charging, realme says to use its 80W charger and original cable. The company also notes that charging power varies by scenario and voltage. The cited vivo store listing does not state a charging wattage, so it does not support a direct charging-speed comparison.

Protection and software claims to check
realme’s IP69 and water-resistance wording
realme advertises IP69 protection, but its product page attaches test conditions to water resistance, warns that resistance can decline with wear, and says liquid damage is not covered under warranty. Treat the rating as a qualified manufacturer claim, not permission to expose the phone to water without risk. The page also says feature availability can vary by region and software version.
Different software statements, not a matched update promise
vivo lists Funtouch OS 15 and uses the label “3+4 OS Upgrade Policy,” without defining the exact update schedule on the cited store page. realme lists Android 15 as the software basis.
