When vivo India announced the T4 Pro in August 2025, it gave launch prices of ₹27,999 for 8GB+128GB, ₹29,999 for 8GB+256GB and ₹31,999 for 12GB+256GB, with sales beginning August 29, 2025. Which phone has the better camera setup for zoom?
The T4 Pro has the clearer hardware advantage for zoom: its published rear-camera specification includes a dedicated 50MP OIS periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical reach. The T5x’s listed rear cameras are a 50MP main camera and a 2MP bokeh camera; the retrieved listing does not show a dedicated periscope telephoto camera.
That difference describes camera hardware, not a proven image-quality winner. Battery capacity or faster charging: which trade-off matters?

Do the processors or durability ratings make one a clear winner?
The phones use different chips: Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 in the T4 Pro and Dimensity 7400-Turbo in the T5x. Without comparable independent benchmark or gaming tests, the model names alone are not enough to call one faster or better for sustained performance.
vivo lists IP68/IP69 for the T4 Pro and promotes IP68/IP69+ for the T5x. These are manufacturer-stated resistance ratings, not a basis for describing either phone as waterproof. vivo says the T4 Pro’s resistance is not permanent and that liquid damage is not covered by warranty; check the applicable warranty terms and handling guidance for the specific phone.
What software support is established?
vivo’s T4 Pro overview describes a “4+6 years OS Policy”; its store product text specifies four years of Android OS updates and six years of security updates. The retrieved T5x product information identifies OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 but does not establish an equivalent support duration. Do not assume the T4 Pro policy also applies to the T5x.
Which one should you choose?
- Choose the T4 Pro if a dedicated 3x periscope telephoto camera or higher listed charging power is more important to you, and you can find the desired configuration in stock at a price you accept.
- Choose the T5x if its larger stated battery capacity is the more relevant specification and its available configuration suits your memory needs.
- Compare exact configurations before deciding on price. The observed ₹27,999 listings pair 8GB RAM on the T4 Pro with 6GB RAM on the T5x, and the T4 Pro’s listed entry selection was out of stock.
