The vivo T4 Pro and Samsung Galaxy A27 5G make different trade-offs: vivo lists a 3x periscope camera, a larger battery and faster charging, while Samsung lists an ultrawide camera and a longer OS-upgrade commitment. Both have 120 Hz AMOLED displays. Their published prices are for different memory configurations, so they do not establish a like-for-like price difference.

What the camera specifications mean
For reach: vivo’s listed 3x telephoto
The T4 Pro’s rear-camera list includes a 50MP OIS periscope telephoto identified as 3x on vivo’s store page. That gives it a dedicated telephoto option on paper, rather than relying only on digital zoom.

For wider scenes: Samsung’s ultrawide
The Galaxy A27 5G lists a 5MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro alongside its 50MP OIS main camera. The two phones therefore offer different secondary-camera options: a telephoto on vivo, versus ultrawide and macro cameras on Samsung. Resolution and lens type alone do not establish which takes better photos, and the listed digital zoom figure is not a substitute for a matched camera test.

Battery, charging and durability claims
vivo lists a 6,500mAh typical battery (6,330mAh rated) and charging up to 90W. Samsung lists a 5,000mAh typical battery (4,860mAh rated), plus estimates of up to 23 hours of video playback and up to 45% charge in 30 minutes under its stated conditions. These are different kinds of manufacturer claims, not a controlled comparison of battery life or charging time. Actual use and charging conditions can affect results.
The protection ratings also need their caveats. vivo says the T4 Pro’s IP68 and IP69 ratings are based on IEC 60529 laboratory testing, that resistance may decline with daily use, and that liquid damage is not covered by warranty. Samsung lists IP64 for the A27 5G, describes protection against dirt and splashes, and says it is not recommended for beach or pool use. Samsung also specifies Gorilla Glass Victus+ on the front and rear. Neither rating should be read as a promise that a phone is waterproof or immune to damage.

Display and processor: what is established
Both manufacturers list 120 Hz AMOLED displays. Samsung specifies Super AMOLED; vivo lists a slightly larger nominal diagonal at 6.77 inches versus 6.7 inches for Samsung. vivo also advertises a quad-curved design. These specifications do not establish which screen looks better in everyday use.
The listed processors are Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 in the T4 Pro and Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 in the A27 5G. Chip names alone do not quantify real-world speed or gaming performance. The manufacturer specifications available here do not provide matched performance or gaming test results.

Software update commitments
vivo lists four years of Android OS updates and six years of security updates for the T4 Pro. Samsung lists up to six OS upgrades and up to six years of security and maintenance releases for the Galaxy A27 5G, with timing and availability varying by model and market. Samsung states the higher OS-upgrade count; the “up to” qualification and market variation matter when considering how long a particular device will receive support.
India price snapshot and the real price difference
The available price figures are not a like-for-like comparison and do not confirm current purchasability. On the vivo India store, the 8GB/128GB T4 Pro selection was shown at ₹27,999 against an MRP of ₹32,999, but that selected version appeared out of stock. Samsung’s India search result showed ₹33,999 for the 6GB/128GB Galaxy A27 5G; the opened Samsung buying page did not display a current selected price.

Because the RAM and storage configurations differ—and stock, offers and prices can change—the figures do not prove that one phone currently costs a specific amount less than the other. Check both sellers’ live listings for the same RAM and storage before deciding. The comparison is limited to the India-market manufacturer information cited here.
Which phone fits your priorities?
- Consider the vivo T4 Pro if its listed 3x periscope telephoto, larger stated battery, up-to-90W charging or higher stated IP ratings are the specifications you value most.
- Consider the Samsung Galaxy A27 5G if you prefer its listed ultrawide camera, Super AMOLED specification or longer stated OS-upgrade commitment.
- Compare prices before choosing by matching RAM and storage and checking current stock; the published snapshot prices above use different configurations.
