The India-market vivo T4 5G is a good fit if battery endurance and a large, bright curved display matter more to you than camera flexibility or stereo sound. Its 7,300mAh typical-capacity battery, 90W charging support, and 120Hz AMOLED screen are the headline strengths. The trade-offs are a rear camera setup without an ultrawide lens, review-reported mono-speaker and fingerprint concerns, and no NFC. Whether it is worth buying depends on the exact variant’s current price and which of those compromises affect you.
What you get with the vivo T4 5G
This review covers the India-market vivo T4 5G. It launched in April 2025 with Android 15 and Funtouch OS 15, powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 3. The official specifications list LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage.

The manufacturer’s capacity figures describe the battery, not a promise of a particular number of hours between charges. Likewise, 90W is the maximum supported charging rate, not a guarantee that the phone will charge at that power in every condition.
What the vivo T4 does well
Battery endurance is its clearest strength
Beebom reported getting two days of use during its review week and around nine hours of screen time even on its heaviest days. That is one reviewer’s experience, not a standardized or guaranteed result; your screen brightness, signal, apps, and usage can change how long a charge lasts. Still, the combination of a large-capacity battery and support for up to 90W wired charging makes endurance the phone’s strongest selling point.

The display is large, bright, and smooth
The 6.77-inch AMOLED panel supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Beebom praised its brightness, curved design, and overall display experience; 91mobiles also described it as bright and smooth. In 91mobiles’ test context, Netflix streaming resolution was limited to FHD, so do not assume every streaming app will play at a higher resolution on this screen.
Everyday performance is respectable for its positioning
Beebom characterized the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3’s performance as decent for the phone’s price positioning. That supports a practical expectation of capable everyday use, but it does not establish sustained gaming performance or guarantee that demanding games will run at a particular frame rate. The phone’s listed memory and storage combinations also give buyers three configurations to consider.

Where the vivo T4 falls short
The rear camera arrangement is not versatile
The 2MP secondary rear camera is for bokeh or depth effects; it is not an ultrawide camera. That leaves the 50MP OIS main camera as the only useful rear focal length for framing different scenes. 91mobiles found everyday photos reliable but reported softer detail in low light and portraits. Beebom observed colorful results that could look boosted. These are reviewers’ observations, not a guarantee of how every photo or video will turn out.
If you regularly photograph wide landscapes, architecture, groups in tight spaces, or want more framing options without moving, the lack of an ultrawide camera is a meaningful limitation. Compare real photo samples from alternatives rather than choosing by megapixel counts alone.

Speaker and fingerprint feedback deserves attention
Beebom’s reviewer criticized the mono speaker’s flat sound and reported fingerprint-scanner issues. These are hands-on review observations rather than a claim that every unit will behave identically. If you often listen through the phone speaker or rely on fingerprint unlocking throughout the day, treat those points as reasons to try the phone in person or compare alternatives where possible.
NFC is not included
vivo’s specifications list NFC as unsupported, and 91mobiles also noted its absence. If you use NFC-based contactless payments or accessories, check that requirement before buying; the T4 does not provide it.

vivo India announced sales from April 29, 2025. The figures below are launch prices, not a statement of today’s street price.

Who should buy the vivo T4 5G?
- Consider it if long battery life and a large, smooth AMOLED display are your main priorities, and the current price makes sense for the storage variant you want.
- Compare camera-focused alternatives if you need an ultrawide lens or want more than one useful rear-camera focal length.
- Look elsewhere or test it first if stereo audio, consistently dependable fingerprint unlocking, or NFC is essential to your routine.
- Compare the exact deal rather than relying on launch pricing or a dated listing; current prices and availability can differ by variant and seller.
Verdict
The vivo T4 5G earns its place as a battery-first mid-range phone with a compelling large display. Independent reviewers liked its endurance and screen, and described its everyday performance as decent for its positioning. But the single useful rear-camera focal length, mono-speaker criticism, reported fingerprint issues, and missing NFC make it a less rounded choice. Buy it when battery life and display quality outweigh those specific gaps; otherwise, compare alternatives against the features you actually use.
