The vivo T5x 5G has the larger battery and screen, while the vivo T3 5G pairs an AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and explicitly listed optical image stabilization (OIS) on its main camera. In the same 8GB/256GB configuration, vivo India’s e-store displayed the T3 at ₹24,999 and the T5x at ₹34,999—a ₹10,000 difference when checked for this comparison on October 7, 2026. Those are observed official-store prices, not guaranteed current transaction prices.

How much more does the vivo T5x cost?
At the time of the October 7, 2026 price check, vivo’s India e-store displayed ₹24,999 for the T3 5G 8GB/256GB and ₹34,999 for the T5x 5G 8GB/256GB, a ₹10,000 difference. The T3 price was shown on its official e-store listing; the T5x price was shown on its official e-store listing.

Which display is better for you?
T3: AMOLED and 120Hz
The T3’s 6.67-inch AMOLED screen has a 2400 × 1080 resolution and a listed 120Hz refresh rate. Its panel type and refresh rate are the key distinctions if you prioritize those display specifications.
T5x: slightly larger LCD
The T5x has a 6.76-inch LCD with a 2344 × 1080 resolution. It is 0.09 inches larger diagonally, but the official listing identifies an LCD panel rather than the T3’s AMOLED. The size gap is modest; the more notable documented difference is panel technology. The cited T5x listing does not state a refresh rate, so a rate should not be inferred from the T3’s specification.

Battery capacity and charging
vivo lists a typical 5000mAh battery and up to 44W charging for the T3. The T5x listing gives a 7200mAh battery and 44W charging. The T5x therefore has 2200mAh more stated capacity, while the charging figures are both 44W as listed.

Chipsets: what the specifications do and do not show
The T3 is listed with a MediaTek Dimensity 7200; the T5x with a MediaTek Dimensity 7400-Turbo. These names identify different chipsets, but they are not enough to establish a real-world speed advantage or quantify how much faster one phone is. vivo’s T5x page also advertises an “1M+” AnTuTu score and performance figures; those are manufacturer promotional claims, not an independent head-to-head benchmark against the T3.

Both phones have a listed 50MP main rear camera and a 2MP secondary rear camera. The T3’s official specifications explicitly identify OIS on its 50MP main camera. The T5x listing identifies a 50MP Sony IMX852 main camera but does not identify OIS, so the available listing does not support treating the two main cameras as equivalent in stabilization.

For selfies, the listed front-camera resolutions are 16MP on the T3 and 32MP on the T5x. Resolution and hardware labels alone do not establish image quality; no independent comparative camera testing is available here.

Software and configurations
vivo lists the T3 with Funtouch OS 14 based on Android 14. The T5x is listed with Origin OS 6.0. The cited product information does not establish how long either phone will receive software or security updates, so these software labels should not be read as a guarantee of future support.
The T3’s listed configuration is 8GB RAM with either 128GB or 256GB storage. The T5x has more listed combinations: 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB, and 8GB/256GB. The ₹10,000 price comparison above uses the matching 8GB/256GB versions; it should not be applied to other configurations.
Which phone should you choose?
- Choose the T3 if you prefer an AMOLED display with a specified 120Hz refresh rate, want OIS explicitly identified on the main camera, or the observed ₹10,000 lower 8GB/256GB official-store price matters more.
- Consider the T5x if a larger stated battery, a slightly larger display, a 32MP front-camera specification, or its listed IP68 and IP69+ ratings are more relevant to your priorities.
- Do not decide on chipset names alone. The available specifications and manufacturer claims do not provide an independent, like-for-like performance comparison.
