Vivo has announced the S2 FE in India, with a 10,000 mAh typical-capacity battery, IP68 and IP69 dust- and water-resistance ratings, and prices starting at ₹38,999. That entry price is approximately $399 by currency conversion—not a U.S. retail price. Sales are scheduled to begin in India on October 20, 2026.
Vivo S2 FE price and availability in India
Vivo announced two 128 GB configurations, with prices inclusive of taxes:
| Configuration | Announced India price | Approximate currency equivalent |
|---|---|---|
| 6 GB RAM / 128 GB storage | ₹38,999 | About $399, as reported by Notebookcheck; not a U.S. price |
| 8 GB RAM / 128 GB storage | ₹42,999 | About $449, as reported by Notebookcheck; not a U.S. price |
Vivo says the phone will be available from October 20, 2026, through its India website, partner retail stores, Flipkart, and Amazon India. The announced sale date is in the future as of October 7, 2026; availability and checkout prices should be confirmed with sellers when sales begin. See vivo’s India announcement.
What the 10,000 mAh battery figure means
Vivo lists the S2 FE battery at 10,000 mAh typical capacity and 9,800 mAh rated capacity. These are two different capacity figures, not a contradiction: the typical figure is the headline number, while the rated figure is the lower stated rating.

- Built with a dual-layer hard PC + soft TPU hybrid structure, this heavy-duty case features reinforced corner bumpers and raised screen/camera bezels to absorb impact from accidental severe drops. It fully shields your phone from scratches
- The unique gear-designed ring offers 360° full rotation and 100° angle adjustment, doubling as a stable kickstand for hands-free video viewing and calls, and a secure finger grip for one-handed use. It locks firmly in place to prevent slips.
- The sliding camera cover adds an extra layer of privacy by blocking the lens when not in use, while keeping dust, debris, and scratches away from your camera lens. The smooth slide mechanism is durable and easy to operate.
- The built-in magnetic ring works seamlessly with magnetic car mounts, providing strong, stable adsorption for hands-free driving. No extra metal plates are required, and it won’t interfere with wireless signals.
- Raised bezels protect both the screen and camera from direct contact with surfaces. Precise cutouts ensure unobstructed access to all ports, buttons, and speakers
Vivo claims up to 30 hours of binge-watching and 68 hours of talk time, while noting that actual performance varies with usage and environment. Those are manufacturer claims, not independently measured results in the available launch coverage.
Vivo also says the battery powered a Guinness World Records title for the longest electronic product testing livestream: 32 hours and 37 minutes. The record disclosure identifies the device as the vivo V80 Lite 5G, marketed as S2 FE in India, and says it was achieved on August 11, 2026, in Chiang Mai, Thailand, under specific conditions. A controlled livestream record is not a prediction of how long the phone will last in everyday use. Details are in the vivo NEXT 2026 announcement.

IP68 and IP69 ratings: what they do and do not promise
Vivo lists both IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water protection under specified laboratory conditions. They indicate tested resistance, not immunity to liquid damage or permission to treat the phone as a waterproof device.

![MTRIEBA Compatible with Vivo X200 FE 5G Phone Case [with Tempered Glass Screen Protector] [2-in-1 Sliding Window - Kickstand Design] Black](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41U3cnPu2FL._SL160_.jpg)
- Includes a high-definition 9H screen protector made from 9H-hardness tempered glass, which effectively resists everyday scuffs, key scratches and accidental knocks, keeping your screen looking as good as new for years to come
- Military-grade drop protection: a hard PC back panel and soft TPU frame combined with shock-absorbing air cushions, plus raised edges to protect the screen and camera lens, providing robust defence against drops, knocks and everyday wear and tear.
- Smooth sliding, secure latching: Precision runners + anti-loosening latches ensure smooth, jam-free sliding and a secure, spring-loaded lock that won’t pop open, making them durable and long-lasting.
- Precise cut-outs, slim and non-slip: Full-featured, precise cut-outs that do not interfere with charging or photography; slim with a textured finish for a non-slip grip, portable and not bulky.
- Innovative 2-in-1 sliding cover and stand: the sliding lens cover doubles as a sturdy folding stand; slide it open to protect against scratches and dust, and close it to instantly transform it into a viewing stand, leaving your hands free for binge-watching or video calls
Vivo says the S2 FE is not a professional waterproof phone, resistance may diminish over time or after drops and impacts, and liquid-ingress damage is not covered by warranty. Avoid deliberately exposing it to water; the ratings do not override the manufacturer’s warning or warranty terms.
