The vivo Buds are a budget pair of true wireless earbuds launched in India at ₹1,999. They combine a manufacturer-rated maximum of 50 hours of music playback with a 10 mm driver, EQ options and multipoint pairing. The headline battery figure depends on specific test conditions, and these earbuds do not have active noise cancellation for music listening. Whether they are worth buying depends on how much you value battery life and everyday features over ANC and a wider, more premium sound presentation.
What are the vivo Buds, and what do they cost?
vivo India announced the Buds on September 10, 2026, at ₹1,999 inclusive of taxes. A Flipkart result accessed October 4, 2026, also showed ₹1,999, with 4.4/5 from 450 ratings and 209 reviews. That is a retailer snapshot, not a guarantee of today’s price, stock or rating.
For buyers shopping around ₹2,000, the main proposition is long claimed battery life paired with basic everyday conveniences such as multipoint and call noise reduction. Independent reviews place them as a practical budget option rather than a feature-complete premium alternative.

vivo rates the Buds for up to 12 hours of music playback on one charge and up to 50 hours with the charging case. The 50-hour figure is based on MP3 playback at 50% volume, AAC, sound effects off, and charging cycles until both earbuds and the case were depleted. vivo says actual duration varies with usage, so treat 50 hours as a best-case manufacturer rating rather than an expected result for every listener.

- JBL Deep Bass Sound: Get the most from your mixes with high-quality audio from secure, reliable earbuds with 8mm drivers featuring JBL Deep Bass Sound.
- Comfortable fit (3 sizes of eartips included): The ergonomic, bud design of the JBL Vibe Buds fits so comfortably you may forget you're wearing them. The bud design gently seals your ears blocking external noises and enhancing the bass performance. And the three included eartips let you choose the best size for your ears to ensure you get the best, most comfortable fit possible.
- Up to 32 (8h plus 24h) total hours of battery life with speed charging: With 8 hours of battery life in the earbuds and 24 in the case, the JBL Vibe Buds provide all-day audio. And when you need more power, you can speed charge an extra two hours in just 10 minutes.
- Stay aware of your surrounding: Go anywhere and hear everything with Smart Ambient technology. When you need to pause for a quick chat, TalkThru lets you instantly hear yourself and those around you without taking out your earbuds. Or use Ambient Aware to keep the music playing while remaining aware of your surroundings.
- Hands-free calls with VoiceAware: When you're making hands-free stereo calls on the go, VoiceAware lets you balance how much of your own voice you hear while talking with others.
For comparison, Digit reported roughly 9.5 hours in its own playback test at 100% volume with AAC active. That is one publication’s real-world test, not a directly comparable lab measurement or a promise of runtime. At the other end of the convenience equation, vivo says a 10-minute charge can provide up to four hours of music playback; that, too, is a manufacturer claim.
vivo also lists up to seven hours of call time per charge. Music-playback and call-time figures describe different use cases, so do not treat them as interchangeable.

How do the vivo Buds sound?
The specification sheet lists a 10 mm high-resolution speaker driver, a 10-band custom EQ and preset sound effects. These controls give listeners ways to adjust the presentation, but specifications alone do not establish sound quality.

Fossbytes’ Hisan Kidwai characterized the sound as balanced, with clear vocals and respectable bass; Digit described a warm presentation with noticeable bass. These are reviewers’ subjective impressions, not measured frequency-response results. Fossbytes also found the soundstage somewhat narrow, a limitation to keep in mind if spacious instrument separation is a priority.

Do the vivo Buds have ANC?
No active noise cancellation for listening is identified in the independent reviews. vivo advertises AI noise cancellation for calls, which is intended to help with voice pickup during calls; it is not the same feature as ANC that reduces surrounding sound while you listen to music. If blocking noise on a commute is a requirement, do not buy these on the assumption that call noise reduction provides listening ANC.
Fit, build and everyday features
- Weight: vivo lists each earbud at 3.8 g and notes that actual weight may vary by manufacturing process. Fossbytes praised comfort during its reviewer’s two weeks of daily use, including gym sessions and events; that experience does not guarantee the same fit for every ear.
- Durability: The earbuds carry an IP54 dust- and water-resistance rating from vivo. This rating applies to the earbuds; it is not a claim that the charging case is protected to the same level.
- Multipoint: vivo lists Bluetooth 6.1 multipoint for up to two devices. Availability depends on the connected device, so verify compatibility with your phone and computer if switching between them matters.
- Gaming: vivo specifies 42 ms latency. Fossbytes praised the gaming mode, but the stated latency is a manufacturer specification, not a guarantee of identical performance across games or devices.
- Controls and finish: Fossbytes noted glossy surfaces that can scratch and the absence of a physical pairing button. Consider those trade-offs if the case will see heavy daily handling or you often pair manually.
- Spatial Audio: vivo lists Spatial Audio modes, but Digit reports availability on select vivo phones. Check whether your specific device supports the feature before treating it as part of the purchase value.
Are the vivo Buds worth buying?
They are a reasonable shortlist option if your priorities are long manufacturer-rated battery life, EQ controls, a light listed earbud weight, call noise reduction and the ability to connect to two devices. The value is less compelling if you specifically need listening ANC, a broad soundstage or ecosystem-independent access to every feature.
