Support for a website should be treated as time-sensitive. yt-dlp’s extractor notes say YouTube is gradually enforcing proof-of-origin tokens for some requests; without relevant tokens, some formats or features may be unavailable. That is a qualification about changing YouTube requirements, not a promise that a particular download will work or fail.
