Some Verizon customers have reported receiving an offer for $20 off each active phone line per month for 12 months. It is a targeted, variable offer—not a guaranteed trick or a confirmed promotion available to every account. You can check whether it appears on your account, but do not assume you qualify until Verizon confirms the terms.
What the reported Verizon offer includes
Customer reports describe discounts ranging from $10 to $20 per line each month; the specific offer behind the $20 headline is reported as $20 per active phone line per month for 12 months. Droid Life covered the reports on June 6, 2025, and a Slickdeals post dated August 19, 2025, reproduced a message describing the $20 offer. These are reports of individual customer experiences, not official terms establishing a current, broadly available Verizon promotion. The actual value depends on the number of eligible lines and whether Verizon applies the credit as described. Eligibility, plan restrictions, deadlines, and a guarantee that the credit will last the full 12 months are not established in the reporting. Confirm the offer’s own terms with Verizon before counting on the savings.

- Sign in to your Verizon account and look for the number-transfer PIN section. Droid Life reported that entering this flow prompted some customers to see an offer. Visiting it is not a guaranteed trigger, and seeing the flow does not mean an offer will appear.
- Check your account for offers or messages. Reports describe offers appearing through the app or after contacting support, but outcomes differ.
- If you find an offer, follow the instructions shown for your account. The Slickdeals poster reproduced a message directing the customer to dial *611 to speak with a representative. Use that instruction only if it appears in your own offer, or contact Verizon through a channel you already use.
- Do not submit a number-transfer request or port your number unless you genuinely intend to switch. The reported route involves the PIN flow; it does not require completing a transfer to another carrier.
Confirm the discount and check your bill
Before accepting, save the offer’s written terms, including the amount per line, eligible lines, duration, and any activation instructions. If a representative confirms the offer, ask when the credit should begin and how it will appear on your bill.

After activation, review a bill to confirm that the expected credit appears and applies to the right lines. Customer discussions include reports of discounts changing or not appearing as expected. If the credit is missing or differs from what was offered, contact Verizon and refer to the saved offer or account message; do not assume an unconfirmed amount will be corrected automatically.

Compare your actual bill with the discount applied against your service needs and the cost of alternatives. Include the bill after the reported 12-month period ends, which lines qualify, coverage where you use service, plan features, and any device or account obligations. The reported offer alone does not establish what your ongoing bill will be or whether switching would cost less.
