Verizon Wireless’s 2016 guide specifies a 4400 mAh lithium-ion battery and up to 24 hours of usage. “Up to” is the stated maximum, not a guaranteed runtime; actual time depends on usage and conditions. The same 2016 guide says a full charge takes approximately three hours when the Jetpack is not in use.
For charging safety, Verizon’s guide states: “WARNING! Please use only an approved charger to charge your Jetpack.”

Choosing a replacement battery or accessories
- Replacement battery: Search for a MiFi 7730L replacement battery and match model MIFI7730L and the documented 4400 mAh capacity. Confirm fit and compatibility with the seller before ordering.
- Charging or tethering cable: Look for a compatible Type-A-to-USB-C charging/data cable if you need a cable for the device’s USB-C connection.
- Protective case: Check the case against the device’s 109 x 67 x 18 mm dimensions rather than relying on a broad “Jetpack” label.
Verify activation before buying for service
The manual documents the MiFi 7730L’s supported radio technologies, but that information alone does not confirm current Verizon activation eligibility. Ask Verizon whether it will activate this specific model for the intended account and service before purchasing one for cellular use.
