Verisoul announced an $8.8 million Series A on December 16, 2025, to expand its fraud-prevention software business. High Alpha led the round, joined by Lookout Ventures, Bitkraft, Bain Future Back Ventures, and Third Prime. The company says it will use the funding for hiring, product development, and go-to-market growth.
Who led Verisoul’s Series A?
High Alpha led the $8.8 million round. Lookout Ventures, Bitkraft, Bain Future Back Ventures, and Third Prime also participated. The announcement identifies this financing as Verisoul’s Series A; it does not establish that $8.8 million is the company’s total lifetime funding. Verisoul’s funding announcement, distributed by Business Wire, gives the date, investors, and stated use of proceeds.
What does Verisoul do?
Verisoul describes itself as a business-to-business platform for identifying fake accounts, bots, and other suspicious activity across a person’s interactions with a digital business. Its product materials describe combining device, network, behavioral, and identity signals, alongside account linking, configurable rules, identity workflows, dashboards, and APIs. The company also presents AI fraud agents as a capability.

Use cases Verisoul describes for fintech
On its financial-services and fintech page, Verisoul says businesses can screen users before KYC, detect account-takeover attempts, and identify logins involving proxies or VPNs. These examples describe the company’s proposed workflows, not independently verified performance, comparative accuracy, or cost savings.
What the company reported about growth
At the time of the December 2025 announcement, Verisoul said it had more than 100 customers and that annual recurring revenue (ARR) had grown by more than 6x year over year in each of its first two years since commercialization. Why High Alpha says the market is broad
High Alpha framed the opportunity as extending beyond one industry, naming SaaS, advertising, market research, gaming, marketplaces, social platforms, and developer tools. That list reflects the investor’s market thesis, not evidence that Verisoul has customers in every sector.
Verisoul co-founder and CEO Henry LeGard said: “Fake users are overwhelming the internet, and AI is making the problem exponentially worse for virtually every digital business.” The statement appears in the company’s funding release and expresses the company’s view of the problem.

What this announcement establishes—and what it doesn’t
The financing announcement establishes the round size, lead investor, participating investors, date, and the company’s stated plans for the proceeds. It also provides Verisoul’s own snapshot of customer count and ARR growth. The product pages explain what the company says its platform does, but the sources cited here do not provide an independent head-to-head comparison or enough evidence to rank fraud-prevention providers.
For a business evaluating fraud tools, useful questions include which device, network, behavioral, and identity signals a platform uses; which stages of the user lifecycle it covers; how teams configure rules and interventions; what integrations are required; and how it limits friction for legitimate users. The announcement alone does not answer those buyer-specific questions.
