VB Health now provides an online lookup for product-specific Certificates of Analysis (CoAs), which the company says show the latest lot’s testing summary. But the available company materials do not identify a formal seven-part supplement quality standard. Readers can inspect posted test information, while keeping in mind that the company’s descriptions of its testing and manufacturing practices are company claims—not an independent audit or proof that a supplement is effective or right for a particular person.
What VB Health has made public
VB Health’s Certificate of Analysis Results page lets visitors search for a product to view the latest lot’s testing summary. A CoA is a report of analyses associated with a product sample or lot; it is not, by itself, evidence of clinical benefit or individualized safety.
The page also includes a glossary of laboratory organizations, methods, units, and abbreviations. Terms listed include AOAC, AOCS, USP, ISO, HPLC, ICP-MS, LC-MS/MS, and PCR. Their presence in the glossary does not mean every product is tested with every listed method.

What the company says its quality process includes
In an August 30, 2026 company press release, VB Health describes a five-stage development process: research and formulation; sourcing and manufacturing; quality testing; publication of CoA information; and real-world feedback. The release says public lab information may include ISO/IEC 17025-accredited testing for vitamins and minerals, heavy-metals testing, microorganism testing, and pharmaceutical screening, depending on the product and testing requirements.

- IDENTIFY KEY VITAMINS & MINERALS YOU MAY NOT BE PROPERLY ABSORBING. When your body isn’t properly absorbing the key vitamins and minerals from your diet, nutrient imbalances can occur. If they’re left unchecked, symptoms like low energy, brittle nails, dry skin, hair shedding, and fatigue can develop. This test identifies the specific nutrients that may need diet adjustments to support better absorption.
- TESTS 112 VITAMINS, MINERALS & TRACE ELEMENTS. Our nutrition test analyzes your hair sample’s response across Vitamins A, B-Complex, C, D, E, K, Calcium, Magnesium, Zinc, Iron, Selenium, Trace Minerals, Essential Amino Acids, plus Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids.
- HOW OUR TESTING WORKS. 1) Register your test online or in the 5Strands app. 2) Collect 10 to 15 strands of hair. 3) Mail your sample to our certified lab using the included prepaid envelope. Once the lab receives it, your results are delivered to your email and mobile dashboard within 4 days. No blood draw, no office visits, or extra fees.
- CLEAR ANSWERS TO MAKE TARGETED DIET ADJUSTMENTS. Your hair analysis report organizes each nutrient into 4 response levels so you know which vitamins or minerals your body may have the most trouble absorbing. Use your results to adjust food choices and supplements to support better absorption and improve energy levels, skin hydration, hair and nail strength, and mental clarity.
- INDEPENDENTLY VALIDATED & DOUBLE-SCAN LAB PROCESS. Backed by third-party research and analyzed twice in a certified U.S. lab for accuracy, 5Strands is trusted by more than 345,000 customers and pets to uncover nutritional imbalances affecting daily performance, skin and hair health, and overall wellbeing.
The same release says VB Health products are made in the United States in facilities operating under FDA current Good Manufacturing Practice requirements. The company’s About page describes its facilities as FDA-registered and cGMP-compliant and identifies the company as Denver-based. These statements describe VB Health’s representations; the cited pages do not provide an independent audit of those claims.
Why “seven-part” is not established
The title phrase “seven-part supplement quality standard” is not substantiated by the located primary materials. The CoA page, press release, and About page describe public test results and company quality practices, but do not enumerate seven elements or define a formal seven-part standard. The press release’s five-stage development process is a different description, not a basis for reconstructing seven parts.

Accordingly, it would be misleading to present a seven-item checklist as an official VB Health standard. The company’s release also makes a qualitative claim that detailed public third-party testing information is not routinely available, but it supplies no study or denominator supporting a numerical industry comparison.

- IDENTIFY WHICH FOODS MAY BE CAUSING YOUR SYMPTOMS. Food intolerances happen when your gut microbiome and digestive enzymes can’t break down a food ingredient. Although gluten and lactose are the most common issues, intolerances can happen with any food item. When these intolerances go unchecked, symptoms like headaches, gas, diarrhea, acne, and bloating may develop.
- TESTS 800 COMMON FOOD ITEMS. Our food intolerance test for adults and children covers 14 major food categories: dairy, vegetables, fruits, grains, meats, seafood, nuts, sweeteners, spices, fats, oils, mushrooms, superfoods, and preservatives.
- HOW IT WORKS. (1) Register your test kit on the 5Strands website or mobile app (2) Collect 10-15 strands of hair. (3) Send your sample to our certified lab using the included prepaid shipping materials. (4) Once your sample is received, we’ll email you the results within 4 days. After 60 days, your hair sample will be permanently disposed of.
- EASY TO READ RESULTS. Each food item is labeled as Insignificant, Mild, Moderate, or Severe to help guide your elimination plan. This gives you clear directions to begin removing severe intolerance foods, moderate your intake of mid-level triggers, and keep safe foods in rotation to support gut health, digestion, and symptom relief.
- 3RD PARTY STUDIED & DOCTOR RECOMMENDED. 5Strands is the only intolerance and sensitivity test independently validated through third-party research. Every sample is processed in our certified U.S. lab using a double-pass method for accurate results, and our testing has helped over 345,000 people and pets uncover their food intolerances and environmental sensitivities.
- Product and lot: Check that the report corresponds to the product and lot you have.
- Test category: Identify whether the listed analysis concerns nutrients, heavy metals, microorganisms, pharmaceutical screening, or another category.
- Laboratory and method: Use the report’s laboratory and method details, where provided, to interpret how the result was produced. A glossary entry alone does not establish that a method was used for a particular product.
- Result and units: Read the reported value together with its unit and any stated context; do not infer a broader assurance than the report provides.
- Scope: Check which tests are actually reported for that product and lot. VB Health says testing coverage depends on the product and applicable requirements.
A CoA can help readers inspect reported testing, but it does not establish that a supplement works, is suitable for a particular health condition, or is safe for every individual.

In an August 2026 warning, VB Health says it does not authorize other eBay sellers and that it cannot verify the contents, manufacturing, potency, purity, expiration, storage, or safety of products from unauthorized eBay sellers. The warning is specific to eBay. It does not establish whether any Amazon seller is authorized or whether VB Health products are available there.
