Valor Mortis is reported to arrive on October 13, 2026, with the full game included in Xbox Game Pass at release and a separate 90-minute trial for PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers. The PlayStation offer is a limited trial, not full-game access. The studio also says it will not sell preorders or offer preorder-only perks.
What subscribers get at launch
| Service | Reported access | What that means |
|---|---|---|
| Xbox Game Pass | Full game included from release, according to Instant Gaming News. | Subscribers can access the game through the service rather than buying it separately. The sources do not state how long it will remain in the catalog; subscription access should not be treated as permanent ownership. |
| PlayStation Plus Premium | A 90-minute trial, announced by the official Valor Mortis account and reported by Instant Gaming News. | This is timed access to try the game, not full-game inclusion. Trial availability by region, its start time, and whether progress carries over are not stated. |
The practical difference is commitment: Game Pass is reported to provide access to the full game while it is included in the catalog and the subscriber remains eligible; the PlayStation offer lets Premium members sample the game for 90 minutes before deciding whether to purchase it.

No preorders or preorder-exclusive bonuses
In a post dated October 5, 2026, the official Valor Mortis account said: “We’re not asking for pre-orders so there’s NO advanced access and NO exclusive content locked behind a pre-purchase paywall”. That means the studio says players will not need to preorder to get early access or content reserved for pre-purchasers.
