Software support and performance
PC Guide says Samsung promises six OS updates and six years of security updates for the phone. It characterizes the Exynos 1680 as a mid-range processor and cautions that the device is not intended to match Samsung’s premium models for high-performance workloads or continual multitasking. The report provides no comparative benchmark, so treat that as a general positioning rather than a measured performance comparison.
Check carrier compatibility before buying
“Unlocked” does not guarantee compatibility with every carrier or network. PC Guide does not provide a carrier-band table. Check the exact model number and supported bands against your carrier’s requirements for your location, and confirm that any features you need—such as 5G access—are supported on that network.

Is this a good deal for you?
The reported $400 price may be worth checking if you want an unlocked 128GB phone with a large, high-refresh-rate display, multiple rear cameras, and the stated software-support commitment. The key limitation in the report is performance positioning: buyers who regularly run demanding apps or multitask heavily may prefer to investigate a higher-performance model. Because no verified competitor pricing or testing is established here, compare current offers and specifications before deciding.
The “lowest-ever” label should be read as PC Guide’s description of the offer, not as a conclusion supported by a published price-history series. The source reports the price as of October 6, 2026, and says prices and savings may change; Amazon’s live price, stock, seller, and checkout terms should be treated as current only when confirmed on the listing.
