The UNISOC T8300 is a 6 nm smartphone chip with two Cortex-A78 performance cores, six Cortex-A55 efficiency cores and a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. Its published AnTuTu V10 figures do not agree: UNISOC’s current product page claims more than 725,000 points, while its 2025 launch announcement said more than 510,000 and Notebookcheck lists 515,103. Those are attributed results, not a score every T8300 phone is guaranteed to reach.
UNISOC T8300 specifications
The T8300 is an octa-core smartphone system-on-chip. The figures below are UNISOC’s platform specifications; they describe capabilities and options, not necessarily the components or features a phone maker chooses to include.
| Area | Published specification | What it means for a phone |
|---|---|---|
| Process | 6 nm | UNISOC lists the process as 6 nm; the cited specification does not identify a foundry. |
| CPU | 2× Arm Cortex-A78 up to 2.2 GHz; 6× Arm Cortex-A55 up to 2.0 GHz | The A78 cores handle more demanding work, while the A55 cores are intended for lighter tasks. |
| GPU | Arm Mali-G57 MC2 at 950 MHz | Graphics performance in a particular game also depends on the phone’s cooling, software and game settings. |
| Memory | LPDDR4X at 2133 MHz | The platform’s listed memory type and speed do not establish how much RAM a phone has. |
| Storage | eMMC 5.1 or two-lane UFS 2.2 | These are platform options. Check the specific phone listing to find which storage technology it uses. |
| Display and video | FHD+ display support at up to 120 Hz; 4K video decode at 30 fps; video encode at 2K and 30 fps | A phone’s panel resolution and refresh rate, and its camera’s recording modes, are handset-specific. |
| Camera | Up to 108 MP; listed modes include 32 MP at 25 fps and dual 16 MP at 30 fps | Sensor choice, image processing and available output modes depend on the phone maker. |
| Wireless and navigation | Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac; Bluetooth 5.4; GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou and Galileo | These are listed platform capabilities; implementation can vary by device. |
| Other | FM radio and TEE (Trusted Execution Environment) | The manufacturer lists these features, but their user-facing availability depends on the device. |

How fast is the T8300 in benchmarks?
The available AnTuTu V10 figures conflict, so they should be read as separate claims and listings rather than combined into a single expected score.

| Benchmark | Reported result | Attribution and context |
|---|---|---|
| AnTuTu V10 | Above 510,000 | UNISOC launch announcement published March 13, 2025. |
| AnTuTu V10 | 515,103 | Notebookcheck’s listed T8300 test entry, accessed in 2026. |
| AnTuTu V10 | Above 725,000 | UNISOC’s current product page, accessed in 2026. The page cautions that results may vary by benchmark version and test environment. |
| Geekbench 6 single-core | 908 | Notebookcheck’s database-listed T8300 result, accessed in 2026. |
| Geekbench 6 multi-core | 2,221 | Notebookcheck’s database-listed T8300 result, accessed in 2026. |
The reviewed sources do not explain why UNISOC’s current AnTuTu figure is substantially higher than its launch-era claim and Notebookcheck’s listed result. UNISOC says its lab results may vary with version and test environment; it does not establish a reason for this particular difference. Notebookcheck’s Geekbench results are database entries, not controlled comparisons across every commercial phone with the chip.

What the T8300’s 5G support does—and does not—guarantee
UNISOC lists 5G NR Release 17, standalone and non-standalone operation (SA/NSA), 100 MHz NR bandwidth, dual-SIM standby, VoNR and VoWiFi. It also claims support for NR non-terrestrial network (NTN) satellite communications and 5G multimedia broadcast multicast service (MBS).

- What You Get: Anker USB-C Hub (5-in-1, 4K HDMI), welcome guide, 18-month warranty, and our friendly customer service.
These are chip-level capabilities, not a promise that a phone supports every feature. The handset’s antennas, modem configuration, firmware, carrier certification, regional model and network availability all matter. In particular, the presence of an NTN or MBS capability in the platform specification does not establish that a specific phone can connect to a satellite service or receive a broadcast network.

Which phone is documented with the T8300?
A Singer Sri Lanka brochure for the Nubia Air 5G identifies the chipset as UNISOC T8300 and lists an 8 GB RAM / 256 GB storage configuration. This is a documented example, not evidence that the same configuration is sold in every market. Check the exact model number, memory and storage specification, and local availability before buying.

How to compare T8300 phones with other chips
A processor score alone cannot tell you how a phone will feel or perform over a long gaming session. For a useful comparison, check the same benchmark version and look at the handset-level details that shape the result.
- Compare the same benchmark and version; do not put AnTuTu V10 beside a result from another version as if they were directly equivalent.
- Use results from actual phones when possible, and note cooling, RAM and storage configuration, and test conditions.
- For gaming, look for sustained performance and thermal behavior in the exact handset. The chip specification does not establish a stable frame rate.
- Check the phone’s storage type, display, camera hardware, supported network bands and which connectivity features are enabled in your region.
- For everyday value, also weigh the handset’s price, software-update policy, battery capacity and thermal design.
Power-efficiency claim and battery life
In its March 2025 launch announcement, UNISOC said the T8300’s A78 performance-core arrangement offers a 28% power-efficiency improvement compared with its predecessor. The cited announcement does not provide enough test detail to translate that manufacturer claim into a battery-life estimate for a particular phone.
