Tom Hanahan and Ryan Wills are set to make their postseason debuts in the 2026 Division Series. Hanahan is assigned to White Sox–Guardians, while Wills is assigned to Yankees–Rays. How Division Series umpire positions rotate
Umpires rotate positions during the series. The AP report says the rotation moves from right field to left field, then clockwise around the bases starting at third. A Game 1 assignment to right field therefore identifies the opening position, not a fixed position for every game.
