ULTRALOQ announced three smart locks on September 25, 2026: the Bolt Mission, which is designed for hands-free approach unlocking; the Bolt Pro, a wallet-tap deadbolt; and the Latch 5 Pro, a wallet-tap lever lock. They differ not just in entry methods but in the door hardware they replace. The announced US MSRPs range from $249.99 to $299.99, and ULTRALOQ said online availability through Home Depot would begin in October 2026. These are launch-announcement details, not a live check of stock or retail prices.
How the three ULTRALOQ locks differ
Choose first by door hardware, then by how you want to unlock. The Bolt Mission is the hands-free option for a residential front-door deadbolt. The Bolt Pro is another deadbolt, but its defining feature is Aliro-certified wallet access alongside other entry methods. The Latch 5 Pro brings wallet access to lever-style doors, which may suit a side door, home office, garage entry, rental or shared space.

ULTRALOQ describes Bolt Mission as combining Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) discovery, ultra-wideband (UWB) ranging, radar-based presence sensing and local decision logic to determine whether an authorized user is approaching. The company says its app can run in the background and that a separate hub is not required for hands-free entry. These are manufacturer descriptions; they do not establish independent test results for reliability, speed or performance in particular homes.

UWB Auto Unlock is not a feature to assume will work with every recent phone. ULTRALOQ Support says a compatible phone must have a UWB chip and that availability may vary by model, region and hardware version. Its compatibility article, updated May 22, 2026, says iPhone SE models lack UWB and warns that many standard Galaxy S and Pixel models do not support it. Check the exact phone against ULTRALOQ’s current Bolt Mission UWB compatibility information; a brand or series name alone is not enough.
Wallet access: what Bolt Pro and Latch 5 Pro offer
Bolt Pro and Latch 5 Pro are the wallet-tap choices, but they are not interchangeable: Bolt Pro replaces a deadbolt, while Latch 5 Pro is for a suitable lever-style door. ULTRALOQ lists fingerprint, PIN, app and physical-key entry for Bolt Pro as well as wallet access. The announcement positions Latch 5 Pro as a lever lock with wallet access; it does not list those Bolt Pro backup methods as Latch 5 Pro features.

Wallet availability depends on the lock model, phone hardware, operating system, region and wallet platform, according to ULTRALOQ. Do not infer that a particular mobile wallet or phone will work just because it supports digital credentials elsewhere. The ULTRALOQ product hub is the place to check current model-specific details. The company also says its app may still be needed for installation, device management and advanced controls even when everyday entry uses a wallet credential or hands-free access.
Aliro and Matter do different jobs
In ULTRALOQ’s explanation, Aliro is the open mobile-access standard developed by the Connectivity Standards Alliance for digital access credentials; Matter connects compatible devices to smart-home ecosystems. The launch announcement describes all three locks as Matter Certified and compatible with platforms including Apple Home and Google Home. It specifically identifies Samsung SmartThings integration for Bolt Pro and Latch 5 Pro, including automations triggered by lock activity. Treat these as ULTRALOQ’s compatibility claims and verify current, model-specific platform support before choosing a lock. The announcement does not mean every wallet or smart-home platform is supported on every model.

Check the door before choosing a model
A deadbolt and a lever lock are different hardware categories, so selecting an entry method is not enough to establish fit. Before ordering, check the existing door hardware and ULTRALOQ’s requirements for dimensions, handing, backset and installation. The product hub includes model selection and fit guidance. In particular, do not assume Latch 5 Pro can replace a deadbolt, or that either deadbolt model is suitable for a lever-style opening.

How to read ULTRALOQ’s “industry’s first” claim
ULTRALOQ calls Bolt Mission “the industry’s first” UWB-enabled smart lock, but that is the company’s claim rather than an independently established market-wide distinction. Aqara announced its UWB-powered Smart Lock U400 at CES 2026. The available announcements do not resolve whether ULTRALOQ intends a narrower category or feature qualification, so the broad first-to-market wording should not be treated as settled fact.
