La serie UGREEN NASync DH comprende due NAS SATA senza dischi inclusi: il DH2300 a due alloggiamenti, più essenziale, e il DH4300 Plus a quattro alloggiamenti, con rete a 2,5 GbE e supporto Docker. Sono pensati soprattutto per archiviazione privata, backup e streaming domestico; per scegliere, contano più il numero di bay e il tipo di carico che la capacità massima pubblicizzata.
Che cosa sono i NASync DH
Un NAS è un dispositivo collegato alla rete locale che centralizza file e copie di backup, così da renderli accessibili da più dispositivi della casa o di un piccolo ufficio. UGREEN ha annunciato il DH2300 e il DH4300 Plus il 1° settembre 2025 e li propone nel negozio italiano. Entrambi sono venduti diskless: i dischi si acquistano separatamente. Le capacità indicate dal produttore sono massimi dichiarati per il sistema, non spazio compreso nella confezione né necessariamente spazio utilizzabile dopo aver configurato la ridondanza.

Scegli il DH2300 per un archivio semplice
Il DH2300 è l’opzione più lineare se ti bastano due dischi e le esigenze principali sono conservare file, foto e copie di backup o riprodurre contenuti in casa. La rete da 1 GbE e i 4 GB di RAM lo collocano nella fascia essenziale; secondo TechRadar, la RAM non è aggiornabile. Non sceglierlo se Docker o le macchine virtuali sono requisiti: UGREEN dichiara che il modello non supporta né gli uni né le altre.
Scegli il DH4300 Plus se ti servono quattro bay o Docker
Quattro alloggiamenti offrono più flessibilità nel distribuire i dischi e la rete da 2,5 GbE può essere utile se anche gli altri dispositivi e l’infrastruttura di rete supportano quella velocità. UGREEN dichiara 8 GB di RAM e supporto Docker, ma non alle macchine virtuali. La presenza di Docker non trasforma quindi il DH4300 Plus in un host per VM né garantisce prestazioni adeguate a ogni applicazione.

Capacità, dischi e spazio effettivamente disponibile
UGREEN pubblicizza fino a 60 TB per il DH2300 (30 TB per disco) e fino a 120 TB per il DH4300 Plus. Si tratta di massimi dichiarati: la capacità effettiva dipende dai dischi compatibili e dalla configurazione, e una disposizione con ridondanza lascia meno spazio ai file rispetto alla somma grezza dei dischi. UGREEN spiega che gli array standard calcolano generalmente la capacità utilizzabile in base all’unità più piccola; dischi di dimensioni diverse possono quindi ridurre lo spazio sfruttabile. - Decidi quanta capacità ti serve oggi e quanto margine vuoi per aggiungere dischi in seguito: due bay sul DH2300, quattro sul DH4300 Plus.
- Prima di comprare, verifica il codice modello preciso del disco nell’elenco di compatibilità UGREEN. Il produttore raccomanda unità CMR progettate per NAS.
- Calcola lo spazio sulla base dei dischi scelti e della configurazione dell’array, non del solo massimo pubblicizzato.
- Metti a budget i dischi separatamente: nessuno dei due NAS include capacità di archiviazione nella confezione diskless.
Rete e carichi di lavoro: cosa aspettarsi
Il DH2300 dispone di 1 GbE; il DH4300 Plus di 2,5 GbE. La velocità più alta del secondo modello è utile solo se anche switch o router, cablaggio e dispositivo che trasferisce i dati possono sostenerla: una porta più veloce sul NAS, da sola, non accelera l’intera rete.

- Backup e archiviazione privata: rientrano negli usi indicati da UGREEN per la serie. Un NAS può essere una destinazione centrale, ma non è una strategia di backup completa da solo: conserva copie aggiuntive e recuperabili anche in caso di guasto o perdita del NAS.
- Streaming domestico: UGREEN indica lo streaming tra gli impieghi previsti. La compatibilità e l’esperienza con un’app o una particolare configurazione, per esempio un server multimediale Plex, non sono dimostrate per ogni scenario.
- Container Docker: UGREEN dichiara questa funzione per il DH4300 Plus, non per il DH2300.
- Macchine virtuali: UGREEN dichiara assenza di supporto VM su entrambi i modelli.
