PC Gamer reported the UGREEN NASync DXP4800 Plus at $584 on Amazon for Prime Day on October 6, 2026, $146 off. That makes it one of the year’s lowest reported prices, but the coverage does not prove it was the single lowest price of 2026. The promotion may have ended, so check Amazon for the current price before buying.
What the October deal does—and does not—establish
PC Gamer described $584 as a price that had appeared only a handful of times that year. TechRadar also reported the $146 discount, comparing the offer with an Amazon price of $656.99. TechRadar noted that a July deal had matched UGREEN’s official summer promotional price. These are dated deal reports, not a complete price-history record, so “rare yearly low” is more precise than claiming a verified, exclusive lowest price.
The reports were published October 6, 2026, for Prime Day. The listed price and promotion may no longer be available. Check the PC Gamer deal report and TechRadar’s comparison for the original context, then verify the live Amazon listing before treating $584 as an available price.

What you get for $584: the NAS enclosure, not a full storage system
The deal price covers the DXP4800 Plus enclosure. PC Gamer notes that NAS-capable hard drives are not included, so budget separately for storage. The device has four SATA drive bays and two M.2 SSD slots, giving you different options for building out storage; the cited sources do not test or recommend a particular drive.

UGREEN’s US product page lists a maximum configuration of 112TB, described as four 24TB drives plus two 8TB drives. That is a manufacturer-listed configuration, not a promise of 112TB usable capacity: the result depends on the drives installed and the selected storage arrangement. RAID redundancy also reduces the space available for files.

- 【Local Privacy, Pro-Grade Security】Store files locally on DXP4800 GT instead of third-party cloud servers, with local account mode for LAN-only access when needed. TLS/SSL, RSA, AES, and SHA-512 help secure logins and data transfers, while Security Manager, and flexible permissions provide continuous protection. RAID support adds data redundancy to help reduce the risk of data loss and improve file recovery in the event of drive failure.
Is the $584 offer a good deal for you?
The reported discount is most compelling if you already know you need a four-bay NAS and can make use of its networking or expansion options. The enclosure price alone does not show the cost of a ready-to-use setup. Before deciding, compare the complete system you would build—not just the headline NAS price.

- Add the drives: Include the cost of the SATA disks and any M.2 SSDs you plan to install.
- Match capacity and redundancy to your needs: Decide how much usable storage and protection against a drive failure you require; RAID modes do not replace a backup.
- Check network compatibility: A 10GbE port is not automatically beneficial if your network equipment and computers cannot connect at that speed.
- Compare like with like: Against another NAS, weigh total setup cost, bay count and type, M.2 slots, network speeds, supported RAID modes, memory capacity, and whether those features matter for your use.
A reader asking “Is this a good deal? Would you do it?” is expressing an individual decision, not a representative assessment. The practical answer depends on the cost of the drives you need and whether the DXP4800 Plus’s four bays, two M.2 slots, and dual-speed networking fit your setup.
