There is no official Type Soul tier list. Every ranking below is an editorial judgment from a third-party guide, and each guide dates its placements differently. The most complete set comes from Pocket Gamer, whose hub was updated May 21, 2026, and it covers five categories: Schrift, Shikai/Bankai, Res/Segunda, Fullbring elements and clans. For Shikai, a separate guide from Earnaldo Blog, checked September 9, 2026, ranks the abilities differently, so the two Shikai lists are shown side by side rather than merged.
Pocket Gamer uses S for meta, A for very good, B for good, C for usable and D for poor. Earnaldo Blog says it places Shikai abilities through its own assessment and that its guide weighs factors such as denial, defense, cooldown economy and conditionality. Treat each tier as the view of its author on the date shown.
Schrift
Pocket Gamer’s Schrift placements, from its May 21, 2026 snapshot, are below. Its D tier has a blank cell in the source table, so only the two named entries are listed.

| B | Deathdealin, Glutton, Thunderbolt, Power, Iron, Visionary |
| C | Compulsory, X Axis |

Schrift is the only category here with a single published ladder from one source, so it is the easiest to use as a baseline. Because no second guide in the reviewed material ranks Schrift, these placements have not been cross-checked.

How Shikai is rolled (fan-wiki context)
TypeSoulGame.wiki, a fan-made roster last updated May 10, 2026 and not affiliated with Roblox or the Type Soul development team, describes Shikai rolls as drawing from a tag pool plus an RSE element. It also says reset codes can reroll either part. This is secondary, unofficial context. It explains why two players with the same ability may have different results, but it does not establish drop rates or how rare any ability is.

Best Value
- Officially licensed by Aviation Culture with authentic design inspired by modern carrier-based fighter aircraft
- One-piece transformation between fighter jet and robot mode with no part swapping required
- Pre-assembled die-cast metal skeleton for enhanced durability and stable posing
- Includes a full accessory set: beam saber, two assault rifles, precision rifle, missile pods, weapon racks, display stand, and two pilot figures
- Part of the Dragon Soul Fighter Series with a focus on authentic aircraft aesthetics and solid construction
- Mode. Fullbring elements differ between PvP and PvE, so compare the matching column only.
- Role. Ask whether the option is for control, burst, defense or mobility. The sources provided do not rank the options by role, so you need to check each kit yourself.
- Conditionality. Earnaldo Blog’s Shikai guide explicitly weighs conditionality, so an option that is strong only under certain conditions may rank lower there than its raw strength suggests.
- Source and date. Compare placements from the same guide and date. Mixing Pocket Gamer’s May 21, 2026 Shikai order with Earnaldo Blog’s September 9, 2026 order gives a ladder that neither author published.
