To toggle Do Not Disturb on a linked Android phone from a Windows 11 PC, open Phone Link and press Ctrl + Shift + D. Microsoft documents this shortcut for Android only; it does not control Do Not Disturb on an iPhone.

Open Phone Link on your Windows 11 PC and confirm that your Android device is linked.

Press Ctrl + Shift + D. The shortcut toggles the mobile device’s Do Not Disturb setting on or off. Microsoft lists it as an Android-only shortcut in its Phone Link keyboard shortcuts.

Because this is a toggle, the shortcut changes the setting to the opposite of its current state. Use your phone’s Do Not Disturb settings to confirm which state is active.

Check compatibility and permissions
Microsoft’s stated requirements include Windows 10 with the October 2022 update or later, or Windows 11, and an Android device running Android 10 or later. Phone Link is supported on select Android, Samsung, HONOR, OPPO, ASUS, and vivo devices; Microsoft recommends the latest Windows 11 version for the best experience. The Do Not Disturb shortcut is documented for Android only. Microsoft also notes that Android 13 introduced a runtime notification permission used for transferring data and sending notifications between devices. You can grant it during pairing or in Android Settings at Apps > Link to Windows > Notifications. That notification permission is distinct from the Android 15-or-later control described below; Microsoft does not say that notification permission alone enables the Do Not Disturb toggle.

If the Do Not Disturb control is unavailable or does not work
Android 15 or later: allow Link to Windows to control Do Not Disturb

On your phone, open Settings and go to Do Not Disturb.

Look for Mode or Schedules, then find the Link to Windows toggle and turn it on if it is available. Menu names and locations vary by device.

Check whether another app or a system mode, such as Sleep or Focus, is managing Do Not Disturb. Microsoft’s Android 15 guidance identifies a competing app or mode, or a disabled Link to Windows control, as possible reasons the Phone Link command may fail.
For general notification or syncing problems
Check that Link to Windows notifications are enabled on Android and review the general steps in Microsoft’s Phone Link troubleshooting guide. Microsoft’s general advice also includes checking whether Android Do Not Disturb is turned off when investigating syncing or notification issues. This is general notification troubleshooting, not a substitute for enabling the Link to Windows control on Android 15 or later.
