Trustpage Cookies is not a cookie-consent product. It was a 2021 Product Hunt launch that used a cookie pun to promote removing third-party cookies from websites, and its offer was a giveaway of 300 boxes of edible cookies. It therefore has no direct competitor in the consent-banner sense. The tools Product Hunt lists alongside it are a mix of analytics, cookie information, banner and compliance, and ad-blocking products. They are only useful once you know which job you need done.
What Trustpage Cookies was
Product Hunt’s launch page describes a campaign from 2021 that gave away 300 boxes of edible cookies. The item ranked #3 of the day on Product Hunt on December 3, 2021. The maker, identified on Product Hunt as Chase Lee, described the prize as a “free box of edible, nut-free, chocolate chip cookies” and tied it to removing third-party cookies from websites. In his launch comment he wrote:
“At Trustpage we made a commitment from day one to not use third-party cookies – we’re sticking to that, and you should too.”

The launch page does not establish whether the giveaway is still running, so treat the 300-box figure as a launch-era number rather than current stock.
Trustpage Cookies is separate from Trustpage
Trustpage’s current website describes a hosted trust center for B2B security materials, including security reports, FAQs, and NDA-gated documents. That is a different offering from the 2021 cookie campaign. Neither one is a cookie banner, so a reader looking for consent management should not treat the trust center as a cookie tool.

Match the tool to the job
Product Hunt’s own reader question for this item is “Are you using a cookie banner on your website?” That is the right starting point if you need a banner, but it is a different need from the edible-cookie campaign itself. The table below separates the needs a site owner usually has.

A short checklist before choosing
- Audit which third-party cookies your site sets, such as embedded video, ad pixels, and social widgets.
- Decide whether you need measurement, a consent banner, or both. They are different tools.
- Test any shortlisted tool on a staging copy of your site. In Chrome DevTools, open Application, then Cookies. In Firefox DevTools, open Storage, then Cookies. Compare what is set before and after consent.
- Confirm the vendor’s current pricing, plan limits, and privacy documentation directly on its own website.
If you want to recreate the campaign
The original offer used nut-free chocolate chip cookies. If you are recreating the idea for a talk, a blog post, or an internal awareness event, that product type is a reasonable equivalent. It is not the original giveaway, and no current supplier or product listing has been verified for it.
